Then Stein comes to ask Peter a question (because he likes to pick on him) and Peter isn't there, and Stein can start calling "Parker... Parker... Parker..."

Then Gwen or MJ can make a long-winded excuse for him.

For me i think it should be Betty Brant because she is the first GF of Spiderman in the comics.

That's not a guarantee we'll ever see Agent Venom though. For all we know, they have no plans to bring him onto the big screen

There has still many stories about Peter Parker that the other movies did not explore. Like Betty Brant as his first GF. Flash Thompson is Peter Parker's bully but Spiderman's #1 fan and Later became his best friend. Liz Allen has a big crush on Peter Parker. Etc.

As great as Spectacular Spider-Man was, I think that chances are slim that they'll get a lot of the story-beats from it. I really think that MJ is going to be a big player in the new series right off the bat, though her characterization might end up bearing some resemblance to her portrayal in SSM.

Sure, nothing's set in stone, but part of it comes from just understanding how films work in comparison to TV shows or comics. We're simply not going to get that many characters heavily involved, because film is a far more condensed vehicle of storytelling.

My guess is we'll get the following characters through out the trilogy at Peter's high school.

• Mary Jane
• Flash
• Harry (could be alternated with Eddie)
• Liz
• Gwen (maybe)

I can easily see it being peter, flash, harry, liz, kong, sally, mj and gwen. But then later on we see less of probably kong and sally. But focus more on peter mj gwen harry liz and flash. Kevin has said in all those recent interviews that they want to focus more on the supporting guys and plently haven't had there time to shine at all in 5 films.

Sure and I think that a lot of them will continue to not have much time to shine in the next few films either.

I'm thinking we'll get an approach, character-wise, more akin to Breakfast Club than anything. Characters that start seemingly as classic stereotypes or cliches and we slowly learn more about who they really are underneath and see them grow as they interact with one another. Characters like MJ or Flash, for example.

Well we don't need to see all of them in every scene of films. Folks like sally and kong I could see more as minor characters who have small parts. Where we stick to more peter, harry, flash, gwen ,liz, mj as thr main midtown group. Then over the course of the mcu we see less of folks. Like as I said kong, sally, flash if they send him to military. And I just hope we get some good takes on the roles. And see characters fully like liz sally kong flash actually get used.

Then once we get to collage we could drop sally, kong, maybe flash as main guys we see. And bring in others like debra, Sha sha, randy, etc.. and likely by here gwen be gone. And then the main group just be peter, harry, mj and Liz I hope.

I've put down Stefanie Scott as Sally Avril in my fan casts. She's good, but not great. I'd want someone better than her for Gwen or MJ. She can play annoying well, though.
