Personally, I couldn't care less where the teen cast comes from. If they look the part and act the part, there's nothing wrong with getting in house actors.

From what I've seen of her, she's mediocre just like the rest of Jessie's cast.

And I don't see MJ in her at all.

Eh, Haileen Steinfield? she's already worked with Asa before in Ender's Game (assuming he gets the role) but she's not a good fit imo.. especially in the looks department.

She looks like a young Margot Robbie. Definitely has the looks to play Mary Jane, but I've never seen her acting.

I think she's fine with her acting. You can't just go by Jessie though, because everyone has to act in a certain way in all these Disney shows. I don't think it shows her full potential she could have. She certainly does have a style and charm about her and would be the right age and has the bubbly personality to play MJ.

For me it's hard to pic actors if we only look at 16 to 20 yr olds for midtown crew. My problem is I don't know many teenager actors names or skills. Where as if we stuck to early to mid 20s there is more names I know more about. But who knows f they will cast harry gwen mj Liz flash etc..... as same age as peter actor. They could always go older for all we know. Look and andrew with Emma.

Jim Carrey as J.J. Jameson. Yes.

I want the main villain to be Mysterio, but he will be hard to cast. He's gotta have a great voice, because we should barely ser his face.

Mysterio has a few good actors to suggest to play him.

Zachary Quinto, Jason Issacs, Tom Kavanagh

Ham would be cool to see. But I seem to recall reading not to long ago. That he has no interest in doing comic films.

Gwen was a bombshell too. She was Standard High's beauty queen and had boys chasing her down the halls of ESU.

Spectacular Gwen was the more cutesy type, but so is Ultimate Mary Jane.

I would love to see chloe but I don't know if I want her for mj, liz, gwen, or even Felicia.

Think of it this way: MJ would keep her at the forefront of the Spider-Man franchise indefinitely.

Losing Emma Stone was one of the biggest missteps of the TASM franchise.

I adore Chloe, but I'll never understand the amount of affection she's getting from a section of the online community who would swear she's the next big sex symbol. I don't at all see that in her. And I even saw the movie where's she's played a sex worker.

I'd be devastated if she plays any of these women.

It's because she's fairly well-known, has shown passion for genre films, and is normally the go-to-girl in Hollywood for action roles. But casting her for every young female role under the sun is stupid.

To be fair, if they do introduce Black Cat, I doubt she'll be a 15/16 year old. I think they'll do what Ultimate did with Felicia because it would further emphasize just how young Peter is. I think they're looking for that dichotomy between a young/inexperienced Peter and the older seasoned heroes and antiheroes of the MCU.
