I don't. The supermodel career was a short-lived plot development that's ultimately used as ammunition against the character. It's not integral to the character, but to some it seems to be the end all be all. Gwen can be reworked into being a nerdy science genius and nobody bats an eye, it's the best Spider-Man adaptation ever, but if MJ isn't a supermodel then it's all wrong. Yet people will be just as quick to cut her down for it. It's messed up.

We've never had a hot Mary Jane though. She doesn't necessarily need to be a full-time supermodel, but they should at least make her a stunner who is seemingly out of Peter's league. That doesn't mean she can't have human qualities and be a real person, but we should at least get something hotter than Kirsten Dunst and Shailene Woodley.

There are lots of actresses out there who aren't super models themselves, but are much more striking than either of those two previous MJ actresses.

I rather not being in black cat to phase 4 when pete is in collage and can have a early to mid 20s felicia. I wouldn't want her to be to much older then pete. If they ever do a relationship with them. Only one who should be older I say is betty. If pete is 15 or 16 here at the start. And betty is already employed at the bugle I would put her at least 21 to 23 yrs old. So only be around 5 yrs older then pete.
