The frizzy hair gives her a Michelle Pfeiffer look which is different to how I've first known AnnaSophia.

Personally, while she's definitely an older choice, I think Annasophia could still work as Mary Jane. She's really short and has a pretty youthful/pixie face. Plus, as others have mentioned elsewhere, girls go through puberty a lot quicker than guys do.

However, if she were cast, it'd have to be alongside either Tom Holland or Charlie Rowe.

Nah, AnnaSophia has a more friendly and approachable personality and even look compared to Odeya Rush, who might appear sultry but just doesn't have the charm and bubbliness of Robb. Robb also seems more of a genuine girl whereas Rush feels more one dimensional.

Actually AnnaSophia is my personal favorite suggestion for the new Mary Jane. As you said, she's very attractive and yet still comes off as being approachable and has a lot of personality to her.

She's a little less than a year younger than me (I'm twenty-two), but she can easily pull off being a teenager. If they cast Tom, Asa or Rowe as Peter, I think Marvel and Sony will have a bit more freedom in casting for MJ or Gwen by raising the age limit a bit. In the case of Robb, I think she could believably work alongside the likes of someone a bit younger than her, like Tom Holland.
