But the real question is, why would anyone want to watch a movie based on 'Brand New Day'?

But the real question is, why would anyone want to watch a movie based on 'Brand New Day'?

Well, I found some good choices for adult versions of Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson, so I decided to find a good story that featured them. Brand New Day came to mind.

But what do you think of the choices? I hope you don't say anything bad about my choice for MJ, because of what just happened.

I'll admit, finding choices were tough, and I'm sure Sam Neill, Victoria Justice, and Leighton Meester among others deserve bigger roles. But Neill looks the most like Dexter, Justice has the feisty personality to bring Speedball to life, and Meester does have the look of a crazy ***** (ignore The Roommate; in better hands, she could easily play a psychotic *****!) like Paperdoll.

I love your cast, Majik. Here's my take:

- I see Maggie Grace in the role of Sharon Carter, because of her emotional depth from Lost and her playing with guns in Faster. People want Dianna Agron as Dazzler, or one of Spider-Man's love interests. Hey, whatever works with you.
- Interesting Jasper Sitwell.
- Alan Ritchson as Clay. He has the look of that 60's superstar that the character was based on. Garrett would be better off as Nova, since he's young, and can handle the mixed genres of Annihilation.
- I like Jaime King for the role of Mockingbird. But Marley Shelton is close to age of Jeremy Renner. I'd go with Cameron Diaz as well, unless that actress isn't up to doing fight scenes anymore (but she's a year younger than Renner).
- I don't see Diane Kruger as Ms. Marvel. She doesn't strike me as the fighting type. Plus, Yvonne Strahovski is campaigning for the role. Kruger would be good as Lucia von Bardas, though!
- Ooh, Zach Morris! I think Patrick Wilson's a better Henry Pym (Wilson can play up the Ultimate incarnation easily; watch The A-Team). But, who knows?
- Ooh! I dig Christina Ricci in there. My other picks: Allison Brie, Autumn Reeser (her hairstyle in The Big Bang screams Janet van Dyne), and Ginnifer Goodwin (she's a very feisty actress with Wasp's hairdo).
- If Shemar can speak like a native African, kudos.
- I thought of Jordana Brewster as Spider-Woman. However, if you want a rock-solid adaptation of Jessica Drew, then I'd go with Michelle Ryan, a British actress with knowledge in martial arts.
- Your choices for the Maximoff twins have too big an age difference. What do you think of my choices: Paul Wesley as Quicksilver and Bridget Regan as Scarlet Witch?
- Ian Somerholder doesn't strike me as Namor. For his smooth operator personality, Pete Wisdom for an Excalibur/MI-13 movie. Or for his sense of humor and cockiness from The Vampire Diaries, Deadpool (if Ryan Reynolds says no).
- Paul Bettany is the go-to guy for Vision.
- What the f... Jake Gyllenhaal as Hercules? Don't get me wrong, Jake is a ****ing great actor. But he is no way - shape or form - the son of Zeus. I'm in the camp of seeing Dominic Purcell (yes, Lincoln Burrows) try out for the role, because he's got a great build, has a very commanding presence, and is from the U.K. Purcell is too big to be contained in a measly role like Wonder Man.
- I could kiss you! Jennifer Carpenter is the perfect She-Hulk. Great feisty attitude (as seen in Dexter), has a lean build to her, and is tall. Tina Fey would be good as the alter-ego Jennifer Walters (Fey can act, she needs to tone down her "What the what?" ********).
- Brandon Routh as Wonder Man, in my opinion.
- Eh, Kristen Bell's a bit of a goofball. Unless Firestar's this feisty superheroine. Someone said Shantel VanSanten (The Final Destination) would be good. What say you?

Great work here. You put a lot of work into making that collage.

Thanks

First, Maggie Grace is one of the worst actresses working today in my honest opinion.
Second, I can see Agron as Dazzler and Mary Jane as well, I just really like her for Sharon over those two.
- Interesting Jasper Sitwell.
Thanks, I know not all roles will be A or even B listers, but I do think all roles will be recognizable actors.
- Alan Ritchson as Clay. He has the look of that 60's superstar that the character was based on. Garrett would be better off as Nova, since he's young, and can handle the mixed genres of Annihilation.
While I'd be alright with him, I think Marvel can do better.
I hate Nova, so I don't want any actors I like as someone I hate; the same way I don't want any actors I hate as a character I like.
- I like Jaime King for the role of Mockingbird. But Marley Shelton is close to age of Jeremy Renner. I'd go with Cameron Diaz as well, unless that actress isn't up to doing fight scenes anymore (but she's a year younger than Renner).
I'd like either of those in the role as well.
- I don't see Diane Kruger as Ms. Marvel. She doesn't strike me as the fighting type. Plus, Yvonne Strahovski is campaigning for the role. Kruger would be good as Lucia von Bardas, though!
Strahovski is another actress I see no appeal of.
- Ooh, Zach Morris! I think Patrick Wilson's a better Henry Pym (Wilson can play up the Ultimate incarnation easily; watch The A-Team). But, who knows?
I like Patrick Wilson, and I'd think he's be fine as either Ant Man, but I like Gosselaar better for Henry personally, but if they were to be switched, I'd still be happy. I will say that I don't think The A-Team is a good point for Wilson though.
- Ooh! I dig Christina Ricci in there. My other picks: Allison Brie, Autumn Reeser (her hairstyle in The Big Bang screams Janet van Dyne), and Ginnifer Goodwin (she's a very feisty actress with Wasp's hairdo).
I only like your pick of Brie. Reeser and Goodwin need to prove more to me before I can consider them decent to good actresses.
- If Shemar can speak like a native African, kudos.
Thanks, and I assume whoever would be cast would have to be taught native African if they don't know it.
- I thought of Jordana Brewster as Spider-Woman. However, if you want a rock-solid adaptation of Jessica Drew, then I'd go with Michelle Ryan, a British actress with knowledge in martial arts.
Bleh, I find Ryan to be a boring actress personally but I can understand how some would like her in the role.
- Your choices for the Maximoff twins have too big an age difference. What do you think of my choices: Paul Wesley as Quicksilver and Bridget Regan as Scarlet Witch?
Eh, I don't think the age difference shows too much on the actors themselves, as for your choices, I don't like them together, though I do like Wesley for Pietro.
- Ian Somerholder doesn't strike me as Namor. For his smooth operator personality, Pete Wisdom for an Excalibur/MI-13 movie. Or for his sense of humor and cockiness from The Vampire Diaries, Deadpool (if Ryan Reynolds says no).
This is where I have to say it's called acting, and I have faith that Somerhalder would do great. Daniel Radcliffe is my Pete Wisdom.
- Paul Bettany is the go-to guy for Vision.
Well I am expecting a J.A.R.V.I.S. connection honestly.
Personally, I'd rather have a better actor(Gyllenhaal) in the role over an only decent actor.
I honestly think Carpenter would be best at both roles.
- Brandon Routh as Wonder Man, in my opinion.
Eh, agree to disagree.
- Eh, Kristen Bell's a bit of a goofball. Unless Firestar's this feisty superheroine. Someone said Shantel VanSanten (The Final Destination) would be good. What say you?
I say no.
Great work here. You put a lot of work into making that collage.
Thanks, I really did. :yay:

- When was Maggie Grace bad? Some of her work in Lost is really exceptional. And she's only two years younger than Chris Evans.
- I never read about Nova. I'm told it's Marvel's version of Green Lantern.
- Yvonne Strahovski is a pretty solid actress. She's tall, in great shape, and knows martial arts.
- Well, Patrick Wilson played a cocky *****ebag in The A-Team. Watch it, and you can tell he nails the personality of Ultimate Hank Pym. But he can also be good as 616 Hank Pym, judging from Watchmen.
- Autumn Reeser has a very steamy sex scene in The Big Bang and has Janet Van Dyne's hairdo in that movie. Ginnifer Goodwin appeared in the TV series Big Love, and she's a whip-smart actress (she's a very fast talker). Of course, Alison Brie has the look as well and is young enough (28 years old).
- Well, Mistress Kizuna came up with Paul as Quicksilver. He appeared in an episode of The O.C. and he nailed the scumbag personality of Peter. Bridget Regan played a woman of magic in Legend of the Seeker, and she has the same personality I envision Scarlet Witch to have. If anything, Matthew Fox is a good Cyclops, and Eliza Dushku would be good as Rogue.
- Daniel Radcliffe as Pete Wisdom, huh?
- Nah, even if there are movies where Jake is built like a brick, he isn't crazy muscular. And he's only 6'; Hercules is about 6'5".

Speaking of your choice for Tigra - I see Vanessa Ferlito as Rogue. If you saw Man of the House, she did a pitch-perfect Southern accent, and she can be a take-no-BS kind of gal as seen in Death Proof. She's my choice.

Moon Bloodgood would be a good Tigra.

Yvonne Strahovski needs to be Ms Marvel. Theres alot of great actresses for the role ,but I think she would fit so well.

Huh. Ya know, I really don't think I would be opposed to Mark Paul Gosselaar as Pym.

Ehhh, not a huge fan of your Ultimate Captain America choice. I don't know if that's just an unflattering picture of him, but he looks odd.

I'd go for Teddy Sears (who's been another Cap pick of mine before Chris Evans was cast).

Speaking of Ultimate Universe Castings...

Cillian Murphy as Phillip Lawson/Captain Mahr-Vell
inception.jpg

@ Red.Star.Killer

- Captain America's height in the Ultimate universe is 6'3". And Ron is not only too old, but he's 5'10". Screw camera tricks, I'm not into that artificial stuff. Let's get a tall actor. Then again, I'm willing to hear your reasonings why.
- Isn't Iron Man in the Ultimate universe a Hispanic? I read Jeff's IMDB profile, and besides learning Brazilian Ju-Jitsu, that's it. But, again, I'd like to hear your reasonings.
- You got the right Thor, brother. A toast to you.
- Thumbs up to Maggie as the Monica Chang.
- I've always thought of Michael as Henry Pym. But he'd be the bomb as Eric O'Grady, because of his comic timing as Flash in Justice League of America.
- I don't know the height of Carol in Ultimates, so I can't speak on Marley in the role. But she could work.
- Never heard of Kevin Alejandro.
- Rashida Jones needs to be in alot of fancast. She's gorgeous.
- Nice choice for Rhodey.
- Common as Blade? If there is to be a reboot of Blade, it'd have to be someone like Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje or Idris Elba. But Common would give Wesley Snipes a run for the money. If I do a Blade fancast, I may borrow this choice and give you max credit!
- I see Ben as Beast during the Golden Age era for the X-Men. Because I'm using Keifer Sutherland as the modern version, and the two look alike. I don't know, Ben's a low-key actor. And I read that in the Ultimates, Clint is a family man, so I think someone in their 40's, and standing at 6'3", would do the job.
- Apparently, seeing Punisher is 6'5" and Joe is 6'5", that might be a great choice. So... thumbs up, pal.
- Great pick for Tyrone Cash. Lester Speight is a great actor who looks like a giant. And nice idea picking a scene from Prison Break for a shot of Speight.
- Well, since Ultimate Nick Fury is in the 616 movie universe, 616 Fury is in the Ultimate movie universe. Give Bruce some hair, and boom!

I hope I don't feel like I'm knocking some of your cast. Give me some feedback on your reasonings behind your choices.

By the way, welcome back Mistress Kizuna. Haven't seen you in a while, especially over at **************. Whip up a cast, why don't you? :woot:

You seriously need to stop basing your casting choices on height and knowledge of (completely unrelated) martial arts.
