A film that made Batman look like a pawn in the larger plan of a serial killer? Like TLH? Hehehe.

Freeman as Gordon, Pitt as Bats. Spacey as Joker.

It may not be a big role but being a high profile movie like The Dark Knight can't hurt Fichtner's career. Plus as an added bonus he gets to work with a stellar cast and a talented director like Chris Nolan.

Fichtner had a very small (uncredited) role in Mr. and Mrs. Smith too.

Yes, that's what I thought. "Oh, THAT guy!" He's a fine actor, especially in Blackhawk Down. I didn't know what his name was, but have seen him everywhere.

I freaked as soon as I saw the thread title. Another fine addition to the cast. I love Mahone, and he'll do great. Seems that the role will be minor and that he gets offed, I'm guessing from the sides, pretty early. At least I can sympathize when the Joker shoots him instead of an unknown and hate the bastard for the rest of the movie. I suppose that's what they're aiming for.

maybe because they rob the bank pre-Joker, Joker gets double crossed, he robs the bank again at some point ... same bank manager for both scenes? I can't see an actor like this not having a larger part than a single scene. a coupl scenes, maybe. was it BOF or someplace that mentioned the getting double crossed "origin" for Joker?
