After watching him in Last Man On Earth, I can see Sudekis as a lead in a drama with comedic timing.

I gave it some thought, and I'd like to see Phillip Winchester as either Hal or Guy.

Winchester is awesome. I'd love that casting. He can play an authoritative badass and he's already got a comic book build.

Plus, he looks a little bit like Nathan Fillion, so people who won't get off the Fillion train can just take their contacts out and pretend it's him.

Regarding Simon Baz... I don't know much about the character, but can we change that stupid mask? Also, why the hell does he need a gun?

Baz is a guy that started off as a petty thug who would just do random shady jobs for people of questionable moral compass. He keeps the gun because he's just used to having one, and just in case the ring suddenly goes out on him.

Baz was wrongly accused of terrorist activity and he quickly made the decision to hide his identity. The design of a GL's uniform comes from their own preference unless they just allow the ring to form a default uniform like Hal wears.

One aspect that I like about Baz is despite having an origin where he confronts anti-Arab sentiment in the US, he still has a subtle sense of humor.

The way baz's green glows is perfect for how all the suits in GLC should look black physical undersuit light aligned on top to create the green of the uniform design how the wielder wants it to be designed.

There are so many neat actors in this group! The perfect superman, battfleck, love wonder woman's accent , Ezra Miller was awesome in the one thing I saw him in. Amy Adams, Eisenberg, Fishburne, Irons. This cast is insane. It made me wonder if it would be smart to cast a somewhat rarely seen actor for a green lantern. And for aesthetics( strength of snyder) the green lantern costume to me is wicked cool and I think it would be neat if out of seven of the main heroes you have TWO African Americans and one woman from Israel. Just a neat different group. I like the idea of an older John Stewart myself. I think Denzel is just maybe too " hey that's Denzel"but an older popular African American actor would be cool to me. Differentiates characters for a team up and also may tell different stories through the eyes of very different characters.
