casting mistakes?

She spent all her life from 6 in africa i would assume her accent was affected. The point is the change of voice in halle added to the character. Whatever accent she chose her to have made it easier to believe it was storm. The american is just too american.

One funny thing is when I watch the dubbed version of the X-movies in Portuguese (usually on TV). I love that they picked the same people who used to dub the characters in TAS. So Storm has a very distinct voice like in the cartoon (of course, not over the top like in the cartoon, but still serious, "slow-paced", and a unique tone). All of them sound exactly the same, but obviously in a much more grounded/serious tone.

I just love to hear them sounding just like the cartoon. Of course, Cyclops is butchered even in Brazil, his voice is the only one different, he sounds way younger in the movies. But I love Storm, Jean, Logan (exactly the same) and Rogue (less sassy, but still the same voice).

proff.x was perfect,rogue on the other hand,anna was right for the movie version of rogue,not for the comic rogue IMO but i think they coulda done something to make her look more like rogue

I don't think Anna looks like cartoon Rogue at all. Nor could they make much to achieve the look. But for the movie version of Rogue, I do prefer Anna than any other super-sexy-bomb like Beyonce, Jeniffer Lopez, Gisele Bundchen, Mandy Moore, Lindsay Lohan, etc, who are sexy but can't act to save their lives. Anna is perfect for movie Rogue (which doesn't mean she's only good for crying. I still think movie Rogue can get a lot of action, portrayed by Anna)

Hugh Jackman. Nothing against the guy, he's a good actor and all, but I rather would have had a less-than-stellar Wolverine that didn't take up 80% of the trilogy's screentime.

cartoon rogue is only one rogue- did you see my images i posted earlier- she's perfect looks wise

I don't really see Anna as Rogue, when comparing to cartoon, or comics. But I tend to consider movie Rogue an alternate reality. And, you know what, movie Rogue is my favorite Rogue (until X2, of course). She's portrayed way more accurately for someone who can't touch anyone. I just wish she kept growing after X2, but they simply destroyed any evolution the character had built.
