I was trying to think of a modern actor who most resembles Cary Elwes' Robin Hood/Westley. Not sure about Skarsgard's charisma, though.
McGregor among the other guys naturally exude that.

Dan Stevens has a Cary Elwes vibe. But personally, I like my Green Arrow to be more Denis Leary-ish.

Didn't Weaving say he wasn't interested in doing any more CBMs after he played Red Skull, saying something like he wanted to try the genre, he enjoyed it, but that was enough for him. Or was he just talking about doing another Captain America?

He didn't sound like he quit the genre as much as the role.
Sure, he wants to do more passion projects, but I would love it if he could only provide the voice for the character.

You just had to pick the pic that makes him most look like the "Master of the Mystic Arts". Well he lost to Cumberbatch, if he was even in contention, so let's get him as the DC equivalent.

Stevens would've been a killer Hal Jordan. As Legion, though, he really gets to test his acting muscle + more screen time.

Oh okay. Well, if it's FX, then not only is there hope that it will last more than one season; there's also hope that it will be good.

And I suppose it's different enough from most superhero properties that Stevens could wind up playing another, more heroic character down the road.

After seeing 10 Cloverfield Lane, I NEED to see Mary Elizabeth Winstead in a superhero or villain role. I don't really care if it's DC or Marvel, but since I'm more of a DC guy, I guess I'd rather see them snatch her up.

As for who she should play... Here are some ideas:

Barbara Gordon/Batgirl (if Jena Malone isn't playing her)

However if it is a younger Green Arrow then I would definitely go with Charlie Hunnam if they go with the younger version of the character if they make Ollie younger then he is probably the best choice
