[FONT="]With the premiere of Netflixs Castlevania rapidly approaching, the creators felt it was about time the fans knew who would be lending their voices to the iconic characters. Series producer Adi Shankar and voice actor Graham McTavish made a video to reveal the animated shows voice cast, which includes a nice collection of seasoned genre actors.
McTavish, seen in the reveal video below, will be playing the Lord of Darkness himself, Dracula. Taking on the lead vampire is The Hobbit trilogys Richard Armitage as Trevor Belmont. While Dracula and the opposing Belmont are central characters, die-hard fans of the series will be pleased to see Alucard, who drives the fantastic Castlevania: Symphony of the Night will be played by the equally excellent James Callis from Battlestar Galactica. The Mentalists Emily Swallow will voice Alucards mother, Lisa Tepes.

Rounding out the current cast are two interesting surprises. Matt Frewer, better known as Max Headroom, will play a character known as The Bishop, while Blow actor Tony Amendola, who recently voiced Jared Hester in Final Fantasy XV, will play The Elder. The first season will follow the events of Castlevania 3: Draculas Curse, which was the first in the series to offer more than one playable character, including whip enthusiast Trevor Belmont, cursed vampire Alucard, magic wielder Sypha Belnades, and pirate Grant DaNasty.
Castlevania will release the four 30-minute episodes that make up part one of the first season on Netflix July 7th.
