a FC sequel could give us an interesting Storm origin, infact might be a good way to actually make her character interesting

Agreed. 4 movies has been plenty of time. If they can't do anything with her here, then a FC sequel is gonna be the best way to give Storm some depth and background development. Which I'd actually like to see in this series. That added with Jean and Scotts early relationship has plenty of material for a good X-Men film.

Characters just getting to know eachother is usually much more interesting then when they have known eachother over a decade.

He looks almost exactly like Chase from Runaways. All he needs is his fistigons and he'd be all set.
Yeah, he does look alot like him. Hope we get a Runaways flick soon.

I actually want a Storm-centric film with Halle Berry as Storm. Like "The Storm" or "X-Men Origins: Storm". With origins Storm, they could make her look younger.

Though I'm not sure how would that sell.

How is the FF4 movie faring i thought it came out next year, but i havennt heard casting news or anything new recently.

It will be released in March 2015!

I loled when I first saw this!

Evan Peters on quicksilver & Dofp

"They used motion capture," Peters said of the speed effect. "I don’t know what I can say about it and not get in trouble, I really don’t. But they shot a lot of slow motion. They brought in an amazing camera, the Phantom -- it’s, like, 3600 frames per second. They brought in these huge, bright lights and did some amazing, amazing stuff with it. I’m excited to see it all cut together and check all that out. It’s going to be really cool."

The actor also confirmed that Quicksilver spends his screen time with Hugh Jackman and James McAvoy in the 1970s portion of the time-travelling film (as opposed to the dystopian future world that's also presented). Also, he'll play a "twitchy" teenager in Days of Future Past, which doesn't quite match with how the character is portrayed in the comics.

"Bryan Singer has a lot of creative freedom on these X-Men movies -- he can do pretty much whatever he wants with them," the actor says of the changes, while also noting that the possibility of comics fans reacting negatively to any alterations was definitely discussed while making the film. "There’s always that risk, but I think at the end of the day, you want to try to make the best movie you can. You kinda gotta go with your gut on that."

"Well, my character can’t be in The Avengers," he says. "It’s going to be a different one. It won’t be me, it’ll be someone else. But yeah, I didn’t focus too much on it. I mean, what an amazing opportunity to be a part of X-Men. I’m gonna try to do the best job that I can and not let anyone down. That was pretty much where I was at with it. I just thought it was really cool to be a part of all the special effects stuff and the movies that I grew up loving. It’s awesome."

sounds promising.... Ive always thought his power could be really really cool if done by a great creative team.

And bad move by the reporter not to ask him about Magneto-Pietro sharing screentime

No, that's actually not at all what you said. :)

I don't think I'd ever use the word "twitchy" to describe Pietro....Then again, he was pretty neurotic in the Silver Age, so maybe it isn't all that far off the mark.

That's exactly what I said. Go back and read it, where you said I had no idea what I was talking about because it was only pictures...well lel. I said he looked like an angsty teenager who was going to be in the 70's and wouldn't be anything like the comics. And that's exactly what we're getting. Not that I care about it not being like the comics in this movie, but it should end people complaining about the Avengers version not being able to be like the comics because it's clear that will be the most comic accurate version.

See, you proved me right. Angsty? Says who?

When he says twitchy I don't think he meant jerky or jittery, it was probably another way of saying impatient

To give a reminder what he said at comic con

: “ He’s very fast. He’s just fast, he talks quick, he moves quick. Everything else is very slow compared to him, it’s like he’s always at the ATM waiting for the bastard in front of him to finish. It’s always kinda like that.”

Michael Fassbender then added, cheekily, “He’s got excellent genes,”

This makes sense.

Also, I loved when Evans said that at comic con, because it comes right out of Peter David's old run on X-Factor. And if Evans is going off of that characterization, that's a huge plus.

I can't wait to see the visual/camera work they did for Quicksilver!

I took twitchy to mean the same thing as angsty.

When I hear twitchy, I think jumpy. When I hear angsty, I think insecure.

When I think angsty I think jumpy, impatient, moody, etc. That's the same thing as being twitchy. And not like the comics where Quicksilver was irritable and quick to judge, but in an annoying teenager type of way.

If Fox can pull of something special, then I hope Marvel studios copies what Fox does with Pietro or even improves on it, either way its us the comic book movie fans that wins.

I think he means that he is doing a lot of things at superspeed, so he appears manic at times and that it's a challenge to slow himself down to normal human pace so he ends up twitching and jerking around. At least that's how I saw it.

Generally that's what twitchy means...

“He’s very fast. He’s a spaz. He talks quick, he moves quick, everybody is very slow compared to him.”

Have you been around an angsty teen before?!? They are the epitome of irritable and judgmental.

He is a great actor. I will never forget him as Seth Wosmer tho.

I don't think I will be happy if other studio is "copying" what FOX does with Pietro and at the same time that other studio will get the credit for this something special visual look for Quicksilver.
