CBS Films to provide Scary Stories to Tell In The Dark

Love how they're keeping that imagery from the book.

Apparently the re-print version of the book out now has new illustrations, lacking any of the atmosphere of the originals. Hopefully this movie will help re-release the book with the original images.

Hmm I don't remember hearing anything about this, but it looks pretty damn creepy. I love that Del Toro has some involvement too.

Considering this comes out in September... it'll be interesting to see the competition between this movie and It Chapter 2.
 
Yeah there's a difference of almost a whole month in release dates.
