Here's the summary for the two hour season four premiere:

"VOLUME FIVE: REDEMPTION" MAKES A SPECIAL TWO-HOUR DEBUT WITH THE INTRODUCTION OF A MYSTERIOUS CARNIVAL CLAN WHOSE INTENTIONS ARE UNKNOWN, WHILE FAMILIAR FACES ADJUST TO NEW STAGES OF THEIR LIVES THAT WILL CHALLENGE THEIR PERCEPTIONS OF THE WORLD AND THEIR ABILITIES. ROBERT KNEPPER JOINS THE CAST. RAY PARK, ZELJKO IVANEK, MADELINE ZIMA, AND DAWN OLIVIERI GUEST STAR -- Claire (Hayden Panettiere) struggles with adjusting to her new life in college when a mysterious death thrusts her into the spotlight once again. Elsewhere, Hiro (Masi Oka) and Ando (James Kyson Lee) continue their noble quest to help people by promoting their abilities. Angela (Cristine Rose) fears Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) will soon discover his true identity; while Matt (Greg Grunberg) is haunted by an unexpected visitor seeking something he has lost. Tracy Strauss (Ali Larter) and H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) join forces, looking for the key to unlock the motive behind a horrific crime. Meanwhile, Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) uses his abilities for good, but he is soon called upon to aid an old friend. While the heroes adjust to their new surroundings, a mysterious carnival clan, led by ringleader Samuel (Robert Knepper), sets their sights on familiar faces.

James Kyson Lee and Zachary Quinto also star. Rachel Melvin, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Ashley Crow, Lisa Lackey, Assaf Cohen, and Saemi Nakamura also guest star.

Claire really needs to be less shown. Don't the producers pay attention to the fan base? They did when they reduced Peters powers, but not about Claire? I am not looking forward to Claires storyline, so she's in college, big deal, it will be the same storyline only this time at college, wow. Peters storyline seems cool, he's finally becoming a heroe he's always wanted to become. I'm sure the person who comes to need his help is Noah, he's with him in some of the previews we've seen. Course it could also be Mohinder since Peter has super strength randomly, unless his original powers have returned. I mean in the summary it does say powers, but that could mean any thing. It'd be cool if it was Mohinder who needed his help, was always a fan of Mohinder/Peters friendship, that's the only relationship the writers have had done right since Volume 1. Well that and Hiro/Andos but Hiro was a jerk to Ando in Volume 3, hopefully thats changed though. Tracey/Noahs plot sounds cool.

I bet the Carnival clan has something to do with the murder that Noah investigates. He finds out some of them have powers and asks Peter for help.

Very excited for this. Can't wait. Also on the topic of Claire...how did that girl even graduate??? She was never at school

She got her GED, they mentioned it at the beginning of Fugitives, then Angela helped her get into college.

Ahh okay. I missed that. Thanks for the info. I was gonna say that is on lax school if they let her graduate after being in school all of like a month :hehe:

Here are six clips from the season 4 premiere.

Awesome stuff. Can't wait. :woot: I'm especially excited for Tracy's story. She's awesome.

I love this show but i have to ask, how does a show in its 4th season get a 2 hour premier and Smallville in its 9th doesnt?

Because Smallville is going to be cancelled soon. :o

It is one of CW's highest rated shows, if not there Highest, why would they do that? I mean it by all means is lossing its charm but it still rakes in viewers. I'd say Heroes is closer to being cancelled than Smallville.

I'd say they both need to be:o

Not going to watch this unless it gets some good reviews. Last season was a waste of my life:(

hopefully this season is interesting, meaning action and heroes using their powers, the las 2 seasons lacked big time in that area, there were maybe 2 or 3 episodes from the seasons that were actually entertaining

I'm giving the show one last chance. I've got no expectations at this point.

I was really looking forward to this and I almost missed it,:argh: I didn't realize the season premiere was tonight, but thanks to SHH's little ad up there I didn't!!!:awesome::up:

When does Peter use his abilites for other than Good?

I don't like the new time, but regardless I'm pumped!

This is the first time that I'm not falling for the Heroes' line of "We have heard the problems... and we're dealing with them." And... House is back and crazier than usual.

Hiro still has his powers, right?

Hiro's sister. Finally they rememebr she exists

was Peter flying ther eor just jumping really high?
