I might as well put this up in preparation for Monday.

HEROES RETURNS WITH A SPECIAL TWO-HOUR EPISODE - THE SEARCH FOR ANSWERS INTENSIFIES AS FINAL RESPECTS ARE PAID TO A FALLEN HERO - RAY PARK, DAWN OLIVIERI, DAVID H. LAWRENCE XVII AND ELISABETH ROHM GUEST STAR
As Claire (Hayden Panettiere) becomes immersed into the world of the Carnival, she becomes increasingly suspicious of Samuel's (Robert Knepper) motives. Hiro (Masi Oka) is on a mission to rescue one of his own, but has difficulty communicating his intentions to Ando (James Kyson Lee). Samuel has his sight set on Emma (guest star Deanne Bray) and her ability to complete his master plan. Meanwhile, Sylar (Zachary Quinto) returns to the Carnival in search of answers and Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) continues to struggle with the loss of his brother. Elsewhere, H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) sets his plan in motion to take down the carnival. Cristine Rose also stars. Todd Stashwick, Saemi Nakamura, Sasha Pieterse and Dawn Lyen Gardner also guest star.

Damn now that sounds good! The lil description on my cable box wasnt that detailed

We're back, fools.

lmao @ Hiro spouting off every sci-fi cliche known to man. I didn't know he was Scottish/Irish, I thought that was just the way he talked.

I can't find a lively thread about this premiere on any forum....

Was I the only one waiting for Sylar to show up ? But speak of the devil lol

I have to rewatch that part to believe it actually happened.

See, now I would like to see something like that in the new Airbender movie.

I wish Noah had sunglasses to put on.

*tazers speedster, then puts on glasses*

Noah: Won't get fooled again.

YEEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!

Sam = Bad ass

I got to admit, Samuel is the best bad guy ever made for this show. Loved the way he schooled Syler and sandblasted him.

Could really, really do with less Claire, ended up fast forwarding through most of her stuff.

Also...
Peter can Fly, so does this mean he can have multiple powers again?

Well if you didn't fast forward through half of the show you'd know that she called her old boyfriend West so Peter could get his flying ability.

Sorry, but her character is nails on a chalkboard to me, the lamest, whiniest character ever with a superfast healing ability. I'm sure I'm not the only one who fast forwards through her plotlines.

OMG the most boring episode in years kill Claire and Angela please.

I'm really really getting tired of Claire and her incessant whining about being normal. Claire was one of the most interesting characters in season 1 and now she's incredibly annoying. Why can't she just embrace herself like everyone else already?

As for the rest of the premiere....meh. It wasnt bad, yet wasnt good either. I appreciate the fact that this show is taking a more subdued and intimate approach to storytelling but at this point i really don't see where the plot is going. And it is plainly obvious the writers have absolutely no clue what to do with Sylar. Why can't he just be the evil badass from season 1? Haven't they learned from seasons 2 and 3 that giving Sylar emotional conflict just doesnt work?

I think it was her killing herself that entertained us in Season 1. That along with having to deal with mysterious father and Senator bio-dad.

Is it just this forum that has no patience for Claire, or is this being discussed in other Heroes forums?

I thought the character had a lot of possibilities, since she was described as a Wolverine type character, and instead we get a Robin the Boy Hostage with a healing factor. I mean, for someone who heals from every wound short of being atomised, and cannot feel pain, she is a bore to watch. I figure HRG would teach her or someone else would come along and skill her on how to use her powers to be some sort of unstoppable unkillable assassin or something cool like a Crow Character, but no... we get "Why can't I be Normal" for 3+ Seasons. Screw normal, you have a power in common with the Hulk, dammit!

Maannn why is it Sylar gets all the b**ches??

Two very meh episodes for me not bad but not great either. When i saw two episodes I thought ok maybe they're wrapping up this carnival volume, but nope not even close.

And I agree Claire is very annoying, not really adding anything to the show anymore.

I enjoyed both episodes immensely. It was super easy to decipher Hiros "hero code-speak" but I thought it was great especially the BSG reference. And seeing Samuel totally OWN Sylar was a sight to behold then we also get to find out that Sylar still has the ability to take peoples powers through his empathy. The volume is called Redemption just saying. Plus that part with the plant growing dude was amazing to watch. I'm loving where this season is going. And I gotta admit I was a little excited when I thought they just might re-introduce West just cuz it would be kool to see somebody from the shows past show up for a moment

He gets them, but ends up becoming psychologically messed up each time. Good trade!
