I've seen Stardust but I can't really remember him at all, so I can't really comment on him, hopefully he does a good job as DD is one of my favourite characters.

I adored Stardust, and I know people have been praising him on Boardwalk Empire -- as an aside, Amazon Prime has some *outstanding* timing getting BE up for streaming LOL! I think they have Stardust available too, if anyone needs to check Cox out.

He's very talented. Also, if they chose to do a more Waid-like DD approach, he'd be aces. But I also know he can do darker and grittier as well.

Wow, at first when I saw the picture I had a negative gut reaction a "not muh aesthetics" kneejerk stupidity.
Then it was brought to my attention he was in Boardwalk Empire, and then I was reminded who he played and how he was one of my favourite characters.
The guy has loads of charm and terrific acting chops.
Way to go Marvel!
