Michael C. Hall for Bullseye!![]()

Michael C. Hall for Bullseye!![]()

I hope we won't get the shaft anymore....now that we have Cox involved.
It all depends on how much effort they put into making Cox feel the character.

Everyone who loves Cox can't wait to see him with this meaty leading man part.

Cox.Have they confirmed if Bullseye and Kingpin will actually appear in this?
he's too damned old...no hate, just not a desired actor for this role anymore....8-10 years ago...F yes!
Thank goodness they didn't go the CW route and do a prequel with Matt Murdock in college.
Having Daredevil as a 30 year old lawyer suits MCU much better than a 20 year old college student.
I like Michael C. Hall as as actor but what made him such a fan favorite to play daredevil? seems sort of random, did he make comments on liking the character or something?
He's a good actor with red hair and generically good superhero looks. I think that's just about it. I've personally never seen him as being a great fit for the role, but that's been irrelevant for a while since he's just gotten too damn old anyway.I like Michael C. Agreed. Even at 31 he can easily play a 27 year old.
I wouldnt mind young Matts story being told through occassional flashbacks throughout the season (similar to ARROW but less frequent).
Mature murdock stories will be the best.
I'm fine with this casting choice, but I just can't help but think that if this guy had been announced as a DC character, there would be a ton of fanboy backlash over it. All the usual "Who the **** is this guy?" and "How come Marvel gets RDJ/Michael Douglas/Robert Redford and DC gets this pretty boy?" stuff. I realize that I can't prove this, but just being on these boards for a while, I feel like every Marvel casting announcement is met with high-fives and rejoicing, while the opposite is true for the other side.
Anyway, all that said, I hope Cox does well in this role. He certainly wasn't on anyone's radar, that's for sure.
I agree with you.
You're not wrong, but I think the current knee-jerk reactions to DC casting have more to do with a lack of faith in the team making those decisions than a lack of faith in the actors themselves. And as you said, Marvel's track record, particularly when casting their leads, is working in their favor as well.Thanks. Yeah, it just seems like the knee-jerk reactions run rampant when it comes to DC announcements. Now granted, at this point, Marvel does have a better track record overall, but often it seems like the DC actors aren't even given a chance by the fans.

I said "current." As in, "Zack Snyder," basically, and Goyer too, perhaps, since he's supposedly got that "architect" role now. Singer and Campbell didn't exactly build them any goodwill, though. The only one who did was Nolan, and its been made very clear that he's long gone. If Nolan were directing BvS though, I can guarantee you the reactions to the exact same casting decisions Snyder has made thus far would have been met with far more positivity. Ya know, "In Nolan We Trust," and all that. But fewer trust in Snyder, which is why I say the knee-jerk reactions are more about the lack of faith in the people making the decisions than about the actors themselves.Lack Of faith in directors of DC movies, directors like Chris Nolan, Bryan Singer, Martin Campbell, Zack Snyder ?
