The Dark Knight christian bale...

But they ought to give Bale some time not a last minute workout regimen because its not healthy for him especially for his heart. Hey Im just looking out for our Batman.

I would think that it would be quite tough on an actor or actress to change their physique a multiple times for certain roles of movies.

I think he should have a little more ripped mass this time, the more time as Batman will cause the body to adapt. I think they should also have a shot of him with his back to the camera and full of scars like a pic I saw somewhere

F yea!
i would love to see this image in one of Nolan's batman movies. its gritty and badass enough

Yeah, that would be really cool, but the batsuit is armor and can "stop a knife." So I guess all we're getting would be some nasty-looking bruises. :p

It was hilarious when my older male cousin and I found a mutual interest in Christian Bale. In his words, "the man is a goddamn beast." LOL.

I think if we were all being payed millions we would show the commitment to, but considering he didn't get alot for the machinest..he deserved an oscar instead..and hes great in harsh times as well.

You'll find something similar to this in the daredevil Director's cut. I too would like Nolan to display our hero's many battle scars since it looks so badass when he does.

he doesn't need to be huge, just efficient and pratical. He obviously needs to look in real shape, muscle mass and low body fat, but he doesn't have to be huge for me to believe he's amazingly strong and agile. I'd like to see more of his training regime in TDK because i'm sure he has to do more than push-ups to dpo what he does as Batman. I'm thinking gymnasics, bodyweight workout's(better for a fighter than weights) and martial arts practice. Gymnasts are ripped, big and super-strong

Bale looked enough huge in BB, so I am fine whith what I will see in TDK ;)

I don't like the way that pic is drawn but the idea is great. I would love to see something like that.

I remember something from the movie Daredevil, where Matt Murdock needed to take painkillers after a night of crimefighting. Another idea I reallly like. (same with the bruises in BB - loved that)

I heard he wanted to get even bigger for TDK than he was for BB.

but that's just what I heard

Where did he say that? That's great news if true.

he should get bigger. at the same time make those suits less damn confining.

i think he was fine in bb. he should just get more ripped but keep the bulk. i remember when i went to see bb and saw him, i started thinking back to when i looked like that and even my girlfriend told me that i looked like that when i first met her. fast forward 2 years later, and im just a fat schlub.

I think he'll probably look more defined, than bulky in TDK.

He'll have more time to get ready, whereas he seemed to have to really go down to the wire for BB.

learn me how to get such big as he was in BB :p

One of the best performances in Bale is ability to changing himself (emotionaly and physicly) for every new character.

He is one of the best actorsat nowadays. He was even great in The Empire of Sun as 13 years old boy

And now he is everywhere, almost every director wants to work with him. Honestly, I think Nolan&Bale is going to be next Scorssese&DeNiro.

Bale desirves Oscar Award and I hope he will get it some day, because he is greater than just great in every role.

He is one man, who has a hundred faces

He's like The Hero with Thousands Faces, or something like that.

Exactly. Seeing as it's been said that the new suit will be sleeker than it was in Begins, it only makes sense that Bale is a little sleeker as well. He shouldn't be any bigger than he was. He needs to be able to movie around and be agile. Plus, his suit gives him some bulk.

More American Psycho-ish. A middle ground between that and what he looked like in Begins.

I thought Bale had a fabulous physique in Batman Begins.

In American Psycho, Bale may have looked his very best. It seemed there wasn't an ounce of fat on him in that movie. He had pure muscle for that role.

As for changes to the Bat-suit, I'm really not too sure what would need a change. I will have to think about that a little more.

Costume Change? - Roven Talks TDK
Author: Jett
Saturday, August 12, 2006 - 7:22 AM, 4:44 PM CENTRAL TIME: TDK producer Chuck Roven has talked, a bit, about the next Bat-flick:

What I’ve heard rumoured is that the new Batman costume may be altered a bit. The appearance will not change dramatically, but will be lighter and sleeker than the one in ‘Batman Begins.’ It may also be constructed to look more like heavyweight fabric and armour than rubber. I shall let you know if I hear more.

The physical demands of the Batman franchise might led to Bale's decision of only doing a trilogy. Unless its not straining-exhausting for him at all.
Which is one reason I want a back to back filming so its not so unhealthy for Bale because what Bale is doing to his body isnt a healthy recommendation. It causes imbalances especially to the heart.
