those are one of the injustices to Bale, the guy should've been at least nominated for an Oscar by now, yet nothing.

I doubt Bale will win Oscar Award this time (for The Prestige), but he should be nominated, because he deserves it.

He was 13 years old kid, but he was great in EOTS.

He is nice guy (as we know), but almost everyone would think that he is crazy serial killer in American Psycho.

He lost 35 kg for The Machinist.

He had headache, but he was one of the best Batmen ever.

And now his time has come and he should get Oscar nomination this time.

He's gunna look great in TDK.....unless they do The Machinist 2...but I doubt that haha. I hope hes a tab more muscular and completely shredded. Come on, running on rooftops everynight will burn every last bit of fat on anyones body....maybe I should start trying that...

I'd like to see Christian put more bulk on for TDK. For once, I'd like to see a Batman that looks convincingly like he could knock your face off if he thought twice about it. Bale has been better than all the rest, but I think it would be great to see him get even bigger.

but i don't see why bale has to be any bigger. He was a good size in Begins and huge muscles don't mean he can knock anyone out better. He looked frickin huge in the suit, and without it looked like a martial artist guy

Dude- Bale HAD TO have taken SOMETHING more than eating a lot of pizza and icecream to go from Trevor Reznik to Bruce Wayne.

I'm not saying steroids (I'm thinking it pretty hard) but deffenitly a lot of synthetic protien or creitien. If not- than I think I speak for EVERY MAN IN THE WORLD when I say, I wish I had this guy's genes.

I've always liked the thinner leaner takes on Batman's physique, because he's supposed to be a ninja...I guess..

But if there was some physique we could get Bale to put on where it would be half Ninja, Half Powerhouse.....I'd be for it

Im glad he didnt get any awards for The Machinist. He did an incredible job but I have seen him better. The script just didnt allow as many layers as he is capable of. I hate it when actors are nominated and receive awards based on physical transformation. That is the easiest part of acting.

I dont want to see a huge Batman. Every pound of muscle you stack on him takes away from him looking agile enough for the role. I liked his physique in BB. I hope he doesnt stretch too far from it.

One reason I'd like to see Bale add more bulk is so that he looks more menacing when stacked up next to other characters. Ledger is not a small dude; he and Bale are roughly the same size. It's going to look very odd that the Joker's as big as Batman when they're going toe-to-toe, height notwithstanding. He needs to have a large physical presence, and it needs to be in the chest, shoulders, back, and arms. Either that, or I just enjoyed Dark Victory too much, which I read today for the first time. Damn you, Loeb & Sale.

I just saw the Machinist for the first time it was effing good! Bale is one of the best actors alive right now he brings so much credibility to this character.
