He changed Batman. Why wouldn't he change Superman?

Thank goodness Nolan is back. Can't wait to see the infamous Vest back in action doing all the 2nd hand directing.
3D. IMAX. Viral marketing. Riddler. MAKE IT HAPPEN!
No, what he did was use Batman's most compelling elements and effectively translate them to the big screen. That's what he'll help a director do with Superman.
Whaaaa?Other than the huge editing mistake in that scene right?![]()
Exactly!
I wish some of the whiners and complainers would recognize and realize Chris Nolan is a smart man.
As far as TDK goes I think he is the one who could. It's very much Nolan's film, despite being attached to a huge corporate label like Batman. If the studio were to give the sequel to someone else it would have undoubtedly been a disappointment.I have faith that if anyone can break the trilogy curse for comic book films, and if anyone can give a movie like TDK a proper followup, it's Christopher Nolan.
Agreed. Although I would lose a tiny bit of faith in him if during his help with the Superman film he decides or agrees with having Lex Luthor return.
I haven't read through the last few pages but after that report were they assumed Nolan is in fact coming back, has there been anything new released like a direct quote and confirmation from Nolan himself?
I don't care how trusted the source who broke the news is, until I hear it straight from the horses mouth I'm not yet going to get excited.
I wouldn't have a problem with Luthor being in this movie...as long as he is not presented as a villain. I think he should have a small but pivotal scene where he is presented as Metropolis's version of Bruce Wayne or in other words Metropolis's most richest, powerful and respected man ala John Byrne's version. Set him up for the 2nd or 3rd movie in the series but only as a puppetmaster like Palpatine in the Star Wars prequels.
i want a official statement regarding batman 3
I'll bet Nolan doesn't use the Riddler, we are all expecting that to happen its way too obvious.
I agree with having Luthor in the film to some degree. The guy is like the Joker for Superman, but with Nolan on board, I can see this film being more along the lines of Batman Begins with a great "main" villain, and some other smaller villains. So basically Brainiac as the main villain, and Luthor being like Carmine Falcone.
But Riddler is very much his style.
Cerebral. Real world. even more so than the Joker.
Also, we were all expecting him to use Joker after Begins, look how that turned out.
It's not like there was a blatant cliffhanger in Batman Begins or anything. Oh wait...
No ****.
We still expected him to use Joker. He could have very well NOT used Joker. Regardless of "cliffhanger."
