I like them both. One is a love story and the other is a magic trick.

Both of them are love stories and magic tricks to me... I tend to prefer Prestige more because the plot is more dense... but Illutionist was more realistic

The Prestige is my favorite and the best Nolan film.

It's probably my fav Nolan film together with Batman Begins

What does everyone think of this?

The lack of Eckhart and Jackman is interesting.

2. Bale - Prestige
3. Pearce - Memento
4. Williams - Insomnia
5. Jackman - Prestige
6. Eckhart - TDK
7. Bale - BEGINS
8. Cotillard - Inception
9. Hall - Prestige
10. *Oldman - Begins,TDK/Caine - Begins,TDK,Inception

For me its,

1. Ledger - The Dark Knight
2. Neeson - Batman Begins
3. Bale - Batman Begins
4. Pearce - Memento
5. Eckhart - The Dark Knight
6. Gordon-Levitt - Inception
7. Theobald - Following
8. Williams - Insomnia

10. Oldman - The Dark Knight

i would love to see Nolan cast once an unknown. sometimes i have a feeling that he wants to be in the safe zone with known actors.

Yeah, he's going down the Burton route, in that he keeps using the same actors over and over again. After TDKR, I hope he uses a complete new cast of actors. I'm getting kinda sick of seeing Cain and Bale in most Nolan movies. :csad:

In these lists of 'Best Actors In A Nolan Film', I always feel bad when Cillian Murphy is left out. His Robert Fischer is supposed to be the simple mark in 'Inception', but somehow by the end you feel for him, and the relationship with his father is something you believe in. Yes, DiCaprio and Levitt were great, but Murphy was amazing, when you consider the part he played.

I actually thought he was the worst thing about Inception. I loved everybody else, but he didn't bring anything amazing to his character.

But yeah, I really liked Murphy in his role. :cwink:

^Murphy seems to be awesome in every role, IMO he has gone from strength to strength since 28 Days Later, great actor.

Bale plays Batman. It's a franchise. Can't blame Nolan for using the same actor in sequels. They've only done one other movie together. Caine has been in two other Nolan movies, so you might have a point there. But really, both Caine and Bale KICKED ASS in The Prestige. Caine was also perfect for his bit part in Inception if you ask me.

Yeah, I thought that at first about Levitt, but I thought he was perfect considering the role. A super serious, super professional technician, who when needed provided the perfect charm (kissing scene with Page) and the perfect physicallity and 'badassery' (the whole zero G section). I thought he was great.

Apparently there's a "secret sound" in the newest update on the Inception app to look out for..maybe it's TDKR related :cwink: :awesome:

Btw just unlocked the Airport Dream...seriously trippy, if any of you have an iPod or iPhone get this it's seriously awesome

I had an Inception style dream a few weeks ago where me and this guy were looking for a book but I found out he wanted to burn it so it turned into a chase for it. I found it, but woke up before I could read it. I do remember seeing fire right before though..man now I want to finish it!! :argh:
