Where was this ever reported? I only saw it briefly on IMDB.
Haha, I actually still picture him as that kid because I watched that show all the time. Very pleasantly surprised that he's come into his own over the years. And he did well for his role in Inception, but I felt Franco would have suited it better simply because he looks more mature. JGL stood out to me as looking so young.
Ok, but how will you explain...
... the fact that Cobb n Ariadne didn't kill themselves to get into limbo. Instead, they used the device, n Cobb makes it clear enough that they only way to limbo is through death
Clearly, this wasn't the case. Cobb and Mal got into limbo simply by pushing themselves to go further into the dream state. They eventually became lost in limbo. This is why the city that they built was the only thing in limbo. Prior to the events of the film, they were the only ones who reached limbo and got out.
Uuumm, u didnt get my question. I was asking...
... How Cobb n Ariadne could get into limbo, if they didnt kill themselves? U remember the level #3 after Fisher gets shot? To get him back Cobb n Ariadne use the device to get to limbo. However, the only way to get there is to kill urself. This makes it possible that they got into the 4th level, Cobb's dream, instead of limbo. I suspect Cobb intentionally did that to fool Ariadne n make her return, while he will stay to find Saito, who he assumed to be already dead during that time. In the end, the beach scene w/ old Saito is the actual limbo, whereas the scene w/ Cobb, Ariadne n Mall (b4 Ariadne throws herself out of the window) is Cobb's level.
Killing yourself gets you OUT of limbo, not into it. They got to limbo by going into another dream state after the 3rd level. When Cob dies in the 3rd, 2nd, and 1st level, he's left in limbo, which means it's no longer his dream, but Saito's.

Not really what you are saying.
Cobb clearly stated in the 1st level that once u die, u get into limbo. And Cobb doesn't die in any of these three levels from what I remember. And limbo isn't someone's dream, but an entire space, where everyone can get into. It's kind of Phantom zone.
That's not true...
Cobb has a conversation with Fischer where Fischer puts a gun to his head and Cobb reminds him that under heavy sedatives he will end up in limbo if he shoots himself to try to kick himself out of the dream. Saito also dies in one dream and ends up in limbo due to the heavy sedatives.
Yes, once you DIE, you go into limbo. Cobb died from the kicks from 1st to 3rd levels. That doesn't mean you can't reach limbo the deeper you go into the dreams. Remember, the fourth level was Cobb's limbo for a time, until they killed themselves on the train tracks.
Exactly,
You have to die to get into limbo, when you are having a complex structure of several layers of dreams. However, my question is, how the hell could Cobb get into limbo to find Fisher, if neither he killed himself in the 3rd level, not Ariadne did that. They simply used the device, creating a new level, Cobb's level. What is shown after the climax scene between Cobb and Mal is the actual limbo (the beach w/ Saito's mansion). The only reason how Cobb could reach the place was dying in water on his way to find Saito.
I just explained it above. Two ways of reaching limbo: 1. going further into the dreams or 2. dying with heavy sedatives. Remember, Cobb didn't reach limbo with his wife with heavy sedatives. He and Mal got their on their own by dreams within dreams.
U r making it confusing, as
Cobb never died in any of dreams.

I remember nothing about that.
What?! lol Of course he did. The kicks were his deaths. He died in the explosion in the 3rd level, he died in the elevator in the second level, and he died of drowning in the first level. Arthur even says he's drowned to Ariadne.
U r making it confusing, as
Cobb never died in any of dreams. At least that wasn't shown. And there is no Cobb's limbo or Saito's limbo, limbo is limbo itself. And the moment w/ suicide and train tracks is actually from Cobb's own memories, when he was explaining how got out of limbo. This has nothing to do w/ my question.
Strictly speaking, it isn't exactly limbo, but acted as one because Mal was beginning to loose herself within it, just like in limbo.
The rest of the team did that, but he was left w/ Saito until the moment when the old Saito stretched his hand for the gun
