Hi there,
i'd like to know if there are movies with a theatrical release, where one the sequels after going "direct to video" somehow managed to get a theatrical release too.

I've seen foreign films go to video and have the region code for here and then get a theatrical release in the united states. i think this happened with hero but im not quite sure.
