Just saw that Boondock Saints has a 3.4 rating and I’m starting to wonder if Letterboxd has an edgelord problem.

No, but seriously, how is this possible? How does this piece of **** have a higher rating than the first X-Men?

I still to this day never finished Boondock Saints.

I think I only got about 20 minutes into it before quitting.

I'm three films away* from hitting 2,000 films logged on Letterboxd. I'm torn between my 2000th being a classic I haven't seen yet like Bridge on the River Kwai or Network or just going the opposite end of the spectrum and watching a Neil Breen movie to mark the milestone.


*there are a few miniseries and short films in there so I use the word "films" loosely but it still counts

I have over 4,000 but I didn't get a chance to do the big milestone since I imported all my logged films from another account.

I was careful last year about what movie I wanted for my year/diary milestone once I figured out after my 50th logged film was to have it be all horror.




I started with a mediocre/sh***y horror film and I ended it with a mediocre/sh***y horror film.
