How come Spider-Man has dropped to 89% (from 90%) and SM2 has dropped to 93% (from 94%) a decade after they were released?

Honestly, I could be wrong but I recall Spider-Man's RT being lower when it first came out 14 years ago.

Maybe some more reviews were aggregated for Spider-Man over time and that's just how the math came out?

Nope. When SM and SM2 finished its run over a decade again the scores were 90% and 94%. So over the course the course of a decade the movies have both drop 1%. Who the heck is still voting on these movies a decade after their release?

Well Rotten Tomatoes did change ownership recently didn't they? Maybe some site stuff with the reviews got re-organized, re-added? Honestly, just guessing here.

On the other... What the hell is this?! "...just another loud, overblown Marvel misfire..." If it is not biased-marvel-hatered-****, then I don't know...

After reading the review from Tony Medley, I'm not sure how exactly he's a top critic. His entire review was like 5-6 paragraphs of him basically complaining that he doesn't really care for these films anymore. Plus, his website looks like something out the late 90s-early 00s. Looking at his history, he just doesn't like CBMs. For example, he gave Deadpool a 0/10 and AoU a 1/10 but rated FF4 a 5/10.

I think top critics should be those who agreed with average opinion most of the time - more often then non-top. Say, break point to be 80%. IMO, this is the only possible objectivity in talking about movies.

Watched the movie and it was AMAZING & EMOTIONAL... Couldn't decide between this & The Avengers for the Best marvel movie... Even thought Winter Soldier was great, Civil War is above that except for the villain part... But having the theme of multiple heroes going against each other, Russo Brothers have done a tremendous job... Actually greater job than It easily deserves 94% or above, still 91% is a great score... And this movie has the BEST Marvel logo intro with an amazing score...!!!

The problem is not in low score, but in tone of reviw. One thing is to say "I didn't like it. I didn't like this this and this". And completely opposite is "Another marvell misfire" or smth worse

MCU movies are filmed by diff directors/scriptwriters/actors etc. Different genres, different everything. You don't like all MCU movies? Then you don't like movies at all. Or just hater.
Anyway, you don't belong critic society.
