Champions have to find something to complain about, I guess. Anything above 90 is gravy at this point and we should think of it as such.

I'd be somewhat disappointed if the Russos turned out a sub-85 movie after TWS. I didn't expect it to score as good or better than that movie though, so I'm quite happy.

There's no getting through to the ones that are raging about every negative (and some positive, believe it or not) review. It's as if they need something to lash out at. Not a huge difference between them and disgruntled BvS fans. I figured we would've learned something from that whole fiasco.

It just reminds me of kids back at school who would get an A- instead of an A+ and complain about it

Newsflash: An A- is still very good and school grade don't matter anyway

I have to see this again. Right now, my initial inclination is to say 9-10/10 movie and to be part of that top shelf CBMs.

If someone told me ahead of time that it would have a rating in the same ballpark as TWS I'd have been celebrating. Having a mid-film battle royale featuring cameos that aren't vital to the plot at hand and can easily be seen as servicing future spin-off films is the kind of thing that critics usually jump on (sometimes with good reason). It's really giving me confidence that the IW films made by this team might turn out really well too. I'll be happy with a rating over 80% for those.

Agreed. IW 1/2 will not only have more characters but be responsible for wrapping up a decade of MCU storytelling (finale movies often stumble). 80% and above is perfectly fine for me for those movies.
