hence the name...
I can't help it if you don't know how to read, use a computer, or the SHH forums properly.

It looks okay. Not a great trailer. Music doesn't do it any favors. Neeson and Fiennes do look fantastic, though. I see almost no emotion from Worthington. I guess this Perseus is an angry, stoic one. Not the best thing to judge the content of this film by, though, that much is obvious.

Looks like they don't have a lot of confidence in the source material.. that score is so wrong. It cheapens it up. It reminds me of 300.and Worthington still doesn't do it for me. My image of Perseus is of a very handsome and somewhat tall man...

Looks visually very good, I'll give them that.
Once again, disgusting posts used to discredits me as people like you constantly ignore the positive posts I do make. That's TheVileOne for your ass.

You must not see many movies and trailers for those movies I take it?
By the way that's me being a smart ass because if you're on a movie forum I'm sure you do watch quite a bit of films. I say that because I still don't get how or why people think the music used in trailers(especially teasers) will be in the actual film.
Almost 90% of the time they use music from a past film or like in this case some sort of rock or metal sample to pump up the trailer.
ok, I get your point, but I still say that the music used here gives one a wrong impression of this film. It doesn't fit, imo.

While I have seen you post positive things about a number of films before, I still have to admit that 75-80%(maybe even 90%) of the time you are in fact *****ing and complaining.
That is why people always say that stuff about you. It's because the majority of the time you are incredibly negative and nitpicky that it overshadows your positive posts.
Even though Rourke was accurate looking as Whiplash, let's be honest about the character here: he's a C lister who looks like he got kicked to the curb by the bouncers of a Slave and Master club.
Jon Favs probably will make a great villain out of him but Rourke, to the non-fan- looks absurd. (At least Green Goblin was silly too but he's still somewhat theatrical)
But I'm sure he'll be great though.

The first teaser trailer for Clash of the Titans has premiered online and it's packed with action. And power chords. The teaser doesn't really give you an idea of what the movie is about (it's pretty much about the exact same thing the original was about) but it does give you an idea of the variety of beasts and foes in the film. And it also gives you an idea of how practical Louis Letterier has gone; despite the fact that this is opening in the 300 slot next year and despite the mullet rock in the trailer, Clash is actually mostly practical.
I visited the set of Clash of the Titans a few months back, and my embargo is pretty rock solid, but I will say that this trailer doesn't quite capture the feel of the sizzle reel I was shown. Of course this teaser only exists to put the film on your radar - the next one will give a better look at what's going on.
One last thing: on the heels of the awful 'Holmes for the Holidays' on the Sherlock Holmes poster, Clash of the Titans reinforces Warner Bros' problems with taglines. 'Titans Will Clash?' Seriously? In a movie called Clash of the Titans? I could give you ten better taglines off the top of my head that aren't just the title rejumbled (how about 'He Stands Against The Gods' 'Fierce Greek Action' or 'It Will Myth You Up' or 'A Kraken Good Time'?). I look forward to future taglines like 'Eli Has A Book' and 'Elm Street Will Have Nightmares' or 'These Hallows Are Deathly.'
Wood Man (that's not his actual name). This is actually one of the good guys (I love when the good guys have a monster on their team), and his skin is made of wood.

Medusa. The snake-haired, snake-bodied, stone-gazed beast returns in this version of Clash. I don't have it any of these pictures, but if you watch the moment from which the second picture was taken you can see her bow on her back.

Calibos. A very different design from the original film. Jason Flemyng plays him. Cool sword, huh?

Harpies. These look to be the most unfinished effects in the trailer.

Skorpiochs. Giant scorpions? **** yes.

The Stygian Witches. This trio shares one eyeball, and they help Perseus on his quest... after some persuasion. Great, almost Guillermo del Toro-esque designs.

Pegasus. I almost missed this and then noticed that either this horse has a big ass or wings.

Zeus. Okay, he's not a 'monster,' per se. But I like the new look of the gods in this version of Clash of the Titans. Gone are the silly toga party outfits and in are sleek, awesome suits of armor.
