.............I can't wait to see this. I was such a huge fan of the original, especially growing up as a child. However, what's with Worthington and the shaved head? Might sound picky to some, but seriously that is just lazy. I mean at least "look" the part for cryin' out loud.

Can't wait to see Bubo!

keep waiting :awesome:

Bubo has a quick cameo. "He's in the movie for a moment." - Chud.com article

Awesome, had no idea Harpies would be in this as well.

They are like Hades' minions. I think he sends them from the underworld to kill Perseus and his crew. Or maybe just to scare them because Hades feeds off human fear.

Did they see an early cut or something?

Did you read an early draft of the script?

Nope.

Why do you ask?

Just wondering how you knew the Harpies were Hade's minions. I know my Greek mythology(may be a bit rusty though), and the Harpies were not minions he sent out.

In mythology the Harpies were on an Island and the Harpies punished a man named Phineas by taking his food so he could never eat it, he was put on the island by Zeus as punishment. Eventually Jason(Jason & the Argonauts)came to the island and yada yada yada...

Well the leaked poster of Hades showed him with some Harpies flying around him which made me think that they may be Hades' minions.

I see. I had only glanced at the posters and must not have noticed them on there with Hades.

I think if they used Bubo, he shouldn't be used as cringe worhty comic relief, but I was thinking more like Hedwig or something. Not like a letter messenger owl, but in terms of how he's presented. I don't know much of Greek mythology though.

I'm waiting for all the brats of today to see this and be all, "dude, they totally ripped off God of War!"

i know, Terry.

it's amazing that even with the internet - a mecca of information - people are still ill informed that I can see kids saying stuff like that.

Especially when Greek mythology is so ****ing awesome. It should be ingrained into people from birth.

Yeah...I prefer Christianity myself. It's more current, ya know?

The pics look great; although Calibos is meh. The original one still gives me nightmares!

I can't wait to see The Kraken!

I keep watching the teaser over and over, and i'm starting to get really jacked for this movie. Having had 4 years of Latin, I have a particular affinity for mythology and good sword-and-sandal movies.

The original Calibos was terrifying. Next to Medusa, he was the scariest character in the movie.

I hope Caron the ferryman is in it somewhere.

None. Christianity isn't quite as epic or awesome as Greek mythology. It's more of a guide to the nature of a person in the telling of stories. I don't care about it but whatever floats your boat.

As much as I like GM, I think Christian mythology is more epic, awesome and even inspiring. Moses openning the Red Sea, The Flood, the book of Apocalypse, etc..
