Wishful thinking.:awesome: Not if they want this to get a PG-13 rating. It's funny how movies back in the day got rated as PG. There were several shots of TnA in Clash '81 and if you ever see the movie 'Beastmaster' from back in the 80's Tanya Roberts boobs are on full display.

I blame Tipper Gore.:cmad:

I'm a BIG fan of the old 'Clash', especially of the Karken, but the new trailer just sold me. The Kraken's neck/head area reminds me of Letteriers design for Abomination in TIH.

Actually that head & neck shot reminds me of Godzilla'98. Or was it '97?

Sounds like some worthwhile. This actually has me more excited than worried with the film unlike other films that have reshoots.

I dont care how far they have to push this back...MAKE IT MORE AWESOME!!!

When the trailer played when I saw "Avatar", there seemed to be a real excitement for the film. Since I'm a huge Greek mythology fan, I'll be in line opening weekend for this.

And to just gush: Sam Worthington and Nicholas Hoult in the same film? A score in my book. :awesome:

They're not gonna show her full on until they work on it some more I think. You know they show some CG in trailers and then when the flick is released it's like a total 180.

Don't we all wish this time and time again? Every movie that comes out that we hate the shot of, we claim, the CGI is probably not complete, then the film comes out, and the same shot has improved very little. What we see is more than likely what we're gonna get. I was hoping for improvement with alot of Letterier's first shots of the Hulk, but they looked exactly the same when the movie came out. I'm willing to bet my life that Clash will be no different, sorry....

Btw, that final Medusa shot does look bland. She looks too human in the face. Her face is supposed to be deformed i.e her punishment.

Yes, but we know for a fact that movie trailers routinely use unfinished effects shots. Is it wishful thinking to say something will look way better? It may be, but it is still a possibility none the less.

I personally absolutely love the look of this, visually LL's movies are great, so at the very least it'll be a great action romp and feast for the eyes.

But with TIH, he started showing he is getting better at doing character scene's as well and he chooses some great actors. Alexa Davalos and Gemma Arterton are 2 of my favourite hotties who are actually good actresses as well.

The Kraken and Medusa alone look worth the prcie of admission.

I really love TIH, its one of my favorite Marvel flicks next to Iron Man, Spider-Man, and X-Man 2...lol

I can't wait until they release a full drawing/conceptual art of the kraken. I want it as my computer wallpaper.

The only weak thing i see at this point is Calibos; he looks more like the Toxic Avenger. :csad: Unless his performance utterly blows me away, i say he'll be the only thing i don't like about new Clash, as the first Calibos still gives me nightmares..and i'm 35 years old. That's how well the actor portrayed him!

The generic feel of the trailer notwithstanding, it already had me at Fiennes and Neeson; though the latter's delivery of "release the Kraken" could've been stronger. Compared to Nighy's, it was little better than a wheezing cough. However, they've certainly done other takes, and what's in trailers doesn't always make the final cut, so all's not yet lost.

Speaking of which, to add to the echo, the Kraken does look pretty damn awesome; and I thought the POTC Kraken was big enough...

Blasphemy!

Liam Neeson could say "Fetch me some toilet paper" and it would sound awesome!:hehe:

Isn't the Kraken from Norse Mythology?

The name "Kraken" may come from Norse mythology but I'm sure Greeks believed in sea monsters.

Anyone got any screenshots of the new Calibos? I don't remember seeing him in the trailer.

He looks more like Mr. Tumnus from The Lion, The Witch and The wardrobe.. :o
