What served the story best was apparently less focus on the great actor that is still a nobody despite starring in the biggest film of all time.

So that's why the majority of reviews said Worthington stole the show from Bale, because nobody has ever heard of Worthington .

And they didn't reduce Marcus' role, they bumped up Connor's.

But you already know that.

Yeah, she hardly did anything in the first one, other than the aformentioned slapping. Those movies were a bit overcrowded anyway. Even someone as talented as Zoe probably wouldn't have stood out unless they wrote her a much better part.

I really want this to be amazing but I'm getting a slight MTV rather than timeless classic buzz from the trailer. Shame as this kind of thing is right up my street. Kraken & Medusa look good. I've got faith in Liam Neeson..lets see what Sam Worthington can do here.

They were playing on his Batman Begins and 3:10 To Yuma success draw is likely why his role was increased. But its normal for a Terminator to have big chunk in a Terminator film.

I think Sam was alot better in T-4 then Avatar as Marcus Wright and in many ways think Bale was wrong for Connor when see the film. I was excited at first Bale was Conner but after seeing if feel Danial Craig or Viggo Mortensen would have been better choices.

With the same script, I don't see how they would have fared better than Bale.
