Costumes look generic now. Same as Sam's hair. The other film could have been better but it at least had a unique look in some regards.

If by generic, you mean appropriate and not ghastly, then yes, I agree.

if by appropriate attire for divine creatures, you mean the same garb as the rest of the people walking around on set then perhaps.

if it's the hair you're referring to than I suppose something like in the original film would be more "appropriate" sure.

it is funny people were mad that sam did'nt have long hair like the original and when he does they still bash him LOL

Sam's hair is bad because it doesn't fit him. He obviously shouldn't grow out his hair.

The garb more then makes sense, especially when they are on earth.

the problem with people that make comments like this is that they assume they are talking about the same person.

For example I always liked the jar head like look in the first, now that they have changed that in the second film I don't like his look. I can see the reverse happening for other people. Your statement about "they still bash" is misguided here.

Some greek heroes are said to have flowing godly hair whilst other are bald and intimidating. Appropriate is hard to say. The only image I can think of that is locked is the hair cut of a Roman senator. I simply think it stood out as a direction in the sword and sandal genre, and was not completely false at the same time.

I suppose gods would dress differently on earth than at home. This isn't the Iliad after all.

sam has always had a head full of hair it was'nt till avatar till he had very short hair

You have to think of the consensus though because I clearly remember so many members here, along with bloggers, making fun of his modern 'jarhead' look. I think Sam's long hair was a deliberate decision in the sequel. The reality now is that he looks like a little kid with long hair, haha!

I thought the new trailer was superb, the effects all look very good and the story seems interesting this time. Hope this is better than the first it certainly looks it.

I just saw the 2 new tv spots and the Titans look REALLY badass. Its kinda silly to hope for a good movie when you have a bad director but........well, I hope its at least enjoyable.

'' you got to be kidding me''

3 years after Terminator Salvation and he still is using the same accent. yes Sam you got to be f... kidding me.

you dont have to use plural. its only me hehe ;)

the accent is oen big reason IMO why a lot people think that he is a bad actor. when he will change it things will change.

Meh, accents don't bother me at all.

Accents can be distracting when its inconsistent like his was during Terminator Salvation.

While its never really bothered me I wish he would just use his real accent. If the character doesn't call for a specific accent that is.

i could care less either

gerard butler still uses his same scottish accent in any movie too

no on *****es about it tho

It surprisingly fits the tone, I mean yea its set in Ancient Greece but it seems irrelevant. They just want to use the monsters and Gods to do action scenes.

I couldn't care less about the accent, but people did not say 'you gotta be kidding me' in Ancient Greece!

It's up there with 'Don't look this ***** in the eye.'
They also didn't speek English. I'm sure ancient Greek had turn of phrases and informal remarks similar to the way our language does. Its not like they spoke in formal stilted styles all the time. The famous Greek poets may have written their poetry that way but the common people and military didn't speak like that all the time. Their speech and language was just as varied as ours.
