i agree any type of accent in a greek film fits it give that otherwordly sound

remember channing tatum using his american voice in the eagle set in roman times

yeah it was out of place lol
The funny thing about that movie was all the Romans had American accents even the ones played by actors who aren't American in real life like Mark Strong not that it bothered me.

I love the special effects of this movie. The action truly looks epic. It's too bad Gemma Arterton is not in this sequel either. I was hoping to see her in a sequel to Prince of Persia or at least this movie. I also hear Alexa Davalos is not in it either, another big time shame. :(

Alexa was replaced by Rosamund Pike, so it's alright.

I would've preferred Alexa too. I have no idea why she's not in it.

Because she got screwed in the first film with the reshoots.

Whats the name of the giant creature with two upperbodies wielding swords?

That thing looked wicked.

Never thought about watching Clash of the Titans but that trailer's convinced me I need to see it.

^ The Makhai.

Cool! is that new? where did you find that?

In Greek mythology, the Machai (or Makhai) were the daemons (spirits) of battle and combat, and were sons or daughters of Eris, siblings to other vicious personifications like the Hysminai, the Androktasiai, and the Phonoi.[1]
The daemons Homados (Battle-Noise), Alala (War-Cry), Proioxis (Onrush), Palioxis (Backrush) and Kydoimos (Confusion)[2] were closely associated with the Makhai.
They were accompanied in battlefields by other deities and spirits associated with war and death, such as Ares, Phobos, Deimos, the Keres, Polemos, Enyo, and their mother Eris.

Looks pretty epic in those photos, hopefully I get to see this when it comes out.

I'm digging the 'Lava Titan', I guess thats this movies version of the Kraken?

I hope this one is a bit better than the first. See, the creatures and sets were cool, but it still felt lacking.

Screenshots look amazing, the movie is definately epic in scale but that wasnt really the first ones problem. The story and acting were the main factor but this does definately look an improvement.

And I agree with Midnight Sun, I do wish Gemma Arterton and Alexa Davalos were still in this.

Well, even the premise of this film seems better than the last one:

(taken from Wikipedia)
A decade after his heroic defeat of the monstrous Kraken, Perseus (Sam Worthington) is attempting to live a quieter life as a village fisherman and the sole parent to his 10-year-old son, Helius. Meanwhile, a struggle for supremacy rages between the gods and the Titans. Dangerously weakened by humanity's lack of devotion, the gods are losing control of the imprisoned Titans led by Kronos: father of the long-ruling brothers Zeus (Liam Neeson), Hades (Ralph Fiennes), and Poseidon (Danny Huston). The triumvirate had overthrown their powerful father long ago, leaving him to rot in the gloomy abyss of Tartarus, a dungeon that lies deep within the cavernous underworld.

Perseus cannot ignore his true calling when Hades and Ares (Édgar Ramírez) make a deal with Kronos to capture Zeus. The Titans' strength grows as Zeus's remaining godly powers are siphoned, and hell is unleashed on earth. Enlisting the help of the warrior Queen Andromeda (Rosamund Pike), Poseidon's demigod son Agenor (Toby Kebbell), and fallen god Hephaestus (Bill Nighy), Perseus bravely embarks on a treacherous quest into the underworld to rescue Zeus, overthrow the Titans and save mankind.

Loved the first one, so I can't wait for the sequel!

It is kind of sad that these films feel like they were only made as a cash grab because of God of War.

I like how they are not portraying Hades as "OMG SUPER EVIL" this time around.

I must admit, seeing Hades and Zeus team up cracked a huge grin on my face. :D
