One of my main criteria for judging a movie is by how many memorable lines of dialogue it has. Just off the top of my head, I think STM has more than any other film in this genre.

You are here for a reason.
No. He will not be alone. He will never be alone.
You will bow down before me!
You've got me? Who's got you?
I'm here to fight for truth, justice, and the American way.
Statistically speaking, of course, it's still the safest way to travel.

There are a bunch more. Does any other super hero movie come close?

I've got one from Superman 2 that is just as good.

General... would you care to step outside?

Not bad. Here's another from I, "Do you....do you like pink?" "I like pink very much, Lois."

"It's amazing that brain can generate enough power to keep those legs moving."

And of course the whole Otisburg exchange is classic.

If you can think of some from Batman or Spidey movies, post 'em.

"There's a strong streak of good in you, Superman. But then, nobody's perfect.......almost nobody."

I already did that one. Here's one. ".....the woman, Ursa, whose perversions and unreasoning hatred of all mankind have threatened even the children of the planet Krypton."

I know. But it was worth mentioning again. Oh then theres the classic .. "Australia!"

I just love the delivery in Hackman's voice when he said that. :D

If you can think of some from Batman or Spidey movies, post 'em.

"Go get em' Tiger"
"You do too much - college, a job, all this time with me... You're not Superman, you know."

...and

"Where does he get such wonderful toys?"
"I made you, you made me first."

so is that how a warped brain like yours gets its kicks, by planning the death of millions of innocent people?

NO, by causing the death of innocent people

------------------------------------------------------------

i'LL MOLD THIS BOX INTO YOUR PRISON BARS!

------------------------------------------------------------

Were all part if the same team, Goodnight!

"Go get 'em, Tiger" was a crap line. The other is good, though. How about, "Out, am I?"

Another from Spider-Man 2 that I have an affinity for is the line, "Ladies and gentlemen .... fasten your seatbelts."

Lex Luthor-"Miss Teschmacher!!!"
"So much for those cat-like reflexes"
"You want to see a long-arm Otis!!"

My personal fav from B89.

I've been dead once already; it's very liberating. You might think of it as... therapy.
:joker:

The tiger line is from the comics, but I still think it's corny.

"It's not that I don't trust you, Otis......I don't trust you."

Okay, I'll give you that one.

Superman: Why did you kiss me first?
Miss Tessmacher: I didn't think you'd let me later.

"We all have our own little faults. Mines in California."

Lex: Lex Luthor. Greatest criminal mind of our time....And I herby serve notice
Otis: He is serving notice...
Lex: That these walls
Otis: these walls right here....
Lex: Will you shut up!!!

Superman 1 and 2 are so quotable.

definitely "General... would you care to step outside" is by far one of the most memorable. it encompassed such awesomeness in preparation for a great battle of superpowers.
"Kneel before Zod!" is probably #1.

even Superman 3 has quotables.
"Superman, you're just in a slump! You'll be great again, Superman!"

"You always wanted to fly, Kent. Now's ya chance."

"I'm sorry, Miss, but that wasn't me."

STM-
Perry White:It took guts, elbow grease and something that you're sorely lacking Kent!
Kent:Um..humility?
White:No!You got bags of humility!

SM4-
Mr.Warfield:Kent, how come there are no flying expences here for you?

Lex Luthor: He is but one, while you are three!
[Non growls menacingly]
Lex Luthor: Four, if you count him twice.

and

As Lex grabs a cup of coffee out of Jimmy's hand.
Jimmy: Hey, thats the Chief's.
Lex: Cheif's got it.
