Really Jon Hamm? As a young baseball player being scouted? I don't think that would have worked. Be lucky we for JT, it could have been Taylor Lautner or Channing Tatum

Timberlake has been in more than enough flicks now, so you can't really say the dude isn't trying. I'd like to see him in more of a slapstick role one day though. Love Guru didn't count.

Well, directors know better than us in these instances, man. With their resume, they cast roles for a reason.

I guess. It's just that... every time I see Timberlake in a movie, I can usually think of about 10 other actors who are in his age range that would have made the film better. He might not be terrible, but his presence in a movie does nothing to enhance it.

Justin Timberlake still has that stigma from his music career to some people. I never understood why. The dude can clearly act. Give him more credit where it's due. Marlon Wayans has a stigma too, but he can act his ass off.
