Yeah, but Peter should get some happyness.
His parents were killed, then he is bullied most of his life, then his uncle is killed, then he is sort of forced into the super hero life, then Captain Stacey and Gwen Stacey are killed, I think Aunt May has died a few times, and Peter almost got divorced and thought MJ was dead once already. He should be able to be happy for once.
I don't like how some stories show that since someone is a super hero that it means they grow up to be unahppy, alone, and bitter. Like halping people and saving people leads you to nothing but a wasted life. I can see them doing that with Batman, like in Batman Beyond and other stories, where Bruce ends up very bitter and alone. But I don't think Spider-Man would be like that.
It just seems like another, "Lets see what horrible thing we can put Peter through"
I don't know what they are planning but I hope they don't destroy the marriage, maybe just cement it or something. But if they do split them up, even if they kill her off, they can also change it back later when a different person is running Marvel or a different writer has a great idea.
