Comic Quotes

Martian Manhunter: Isolation, hopelessness, emptyness..

Batman: Sounds like my last date.... Let ME talk to him.

Blue Beetle: You have any idea how many hours we've been here--

Batman: Nine point two hours.

Blue Beetle: Thank you, Mr. Spock.

Batman: Pardon me?

Blue Beetle: Just a little joke, Bats.

Batman: Spare us the humor, Beetle. This is serious business.

Blue Beetle: Isn't it always?

From Powers

Deena: She's ready for you.

Christian: "Ready for me?"

Deena: She wants you to tuck her in.

Christian: Didn't you just do that?

Deena: She wants you to, too. She's a kid.

Poor Kid was filthy. She had funky butt.

Christian: Funky butt?

Deena: Total Funky Butt.

Christian: Do I have Funky butt?

Deena: See you tomorrow, walker.

Christian: I'm serious.

Deena: I know, that's so sad.

Batman: Batman to all points. I could use some air support. Since I can't fly. At all. [still falling] Now would be good.

I lmfao when i first saw that episode

That was a truly great quote! I love that ep.

Hawkman: "Stop right there..."

Green Arrow: [internal monologue] We all freeze. But it quickly becomes clear we're not the ones he's talking to. His eyes lock on the candelabra. [speaking] "Carter, you okay?." [internal] I know that look. He's capable of counting the flaps of a hummingbird's wings. And even some things that're a bit faster.

Hawkman: "I see you, Wally."

Flash: "I know what you're doing."

Green Arrow: [internal] It's not until that moment that I realize he's not alone. [speaking] "Kyle... I see you too."

Kyle Rayner: "How'd you do that?"

Green Arrow: "I bluffed."

Rorkannu: I am Rorkannu, master of the Dim Dimensions, and you cannot beat me up.

*The Captain punches him and kicks him into a bathroom stall*

The Captain: I'm The Cpatain, I'm from ****ing Brooklyn, and I can barely understand ****ing ENGLISH!

One of the best things about Identity Crisis was Kyle was in it and not pooey Jordan and they actually remembered Kyle and Wally's freidnship.

There are a lot of great character moments in Identity Crisis. One that immediately comes to mind comes from the first few pages:
"Ollie is balding. That's why he wears the cap."

Don't read DC comics?! I used to be like you a few years ago.

Start picking up some DC trades. You definitly won't regret it. And with the people around here, they can make sure you get something good.

And we'd always be willing to skim your reading list and suggest a few Civil War crossovers that aren't necessary.

Batman: Can you follow them, but from enough distance so we're not noticed?

Blue Beetle: Sure can!

Batman: Okay then, Mr. Sulu, warp seven!

Blue Beetle: Hey everybody, Batman made a funny! Batman made a funny!

Batman: Don't push your luck, Beetle.

Blue Beetle: Sorry, Bats.

I am now bidding on Hush Vol. 1 and Hush Vol. 2 soley based on what I've read on THIS thread. And I'm more of a Marvel guy. It'll be my first Batman purchase in years. Thanks guys.
