The Dark Knight Comprehensive IMAX prologue descriptions

The OFFICIAL announcement from Warner Bros. on The Dark Knight prologue was just released today (with new Nolan quotes). Read it here......

is this being released with all IMAX theaters throughout the country? We have one in my hometown, but we didn't get the first preview with the step right up reward and i don't want to pay $9 to not see the preview.

The pumpkin was pretty cool tho...

yea it's confirmed to be showing in front of all IMAX legend screenings

The IMAX prologue I think is doubtful, unless it's released by WB or on the IMAX website.

Most have noted security has been strict and really, someone taking a hand-operated camera into an IMAX is going to have trouble recording the whole screen. Maybe someone does get it recorded but I just get the feeling if the prologue does appear on youtube it won't be worth watching quality-wise.

As for the other teaser on the regular IAL showings, hopefully that gets an official (or unofficial) release very soon.

Yeah, part of the whole point of seeing this prologue is the beauty of IMAX: the dark knight being the first major motion picture to actually have scenes shot in IMAX. Even to watch it officially online, won't have near the power of seeing these beautiful pictures on a giant screen...
