I just got a hold of a bootlegged version with much better sound, and you are indeed right. :yay:

Hands up, heads down is kind of an awkward position to hold though....
 
Okay all, there's another version of the prologue out there that's better than the one that we were mass-distributing, so....you know where to look. :cwink:

I need that prologue. For my money, the prologue is greater than the trailer. In the prologue you get to see Nolan's film making on display, and the music, don't even get me started; the music is incredible; I love it...every second of it. Someone please get me the link. I think youtube is a lost cause. WB has, and will keep taking it down.
 
Just got back from watching the prologue in Nashville. I have to say that it was very different from the way it played out in my mind, but as everyone knows this is always the case. I refused to watch the bootleg version because...seeing it in Imax was just amazing. Clear as a bell and loud as hell. Joker was great as we all know, but I thought it was just a little too short on the first reveal, a little longer without the mask would have made it perfect and a little better for the folks who have no idea what he looks like.

Actual question about the logic of the logic of the prologue...

How was the original robber able to back the bus into the bank? In the end, when you see Heath driving out, you see that it is a busy two way street, so there would have been no room for the driver to stop and back it in perfectly. Also, wouldn't traffic have stopped when people notice a bus driving into a bank?
 
The ending to the prologue with the drums and the brief shot of the bat-suit,the joker turning around and walking down the street got me more hyped than the trailer because it was more teasing.
 
the Prologue?...LOGIC?? as much as i like the prologue it isn't that good AT ALL. I'm not going to make a list on wats wrong cuz that list wud be long. The one reason i REALLY liked it is because for some reason it feels like BTAS...i mean the **** that the goons say, they way they act, the joker, the "logic be damned" attitude just to get some cool scenes...it all feels like a scene from the cartoon. It's cool to see BTAS come to life. But i'll be DAMNED if that kind of stoopid acting is in TDK.

If you liked it then why are you going to take the time to make a big long list of what's wrong with it? :huh:

The acting and dialogue were a bit :o the first time, but it's grown on me. I think if Nolan has the time to really build it in the movie, it could work.
 
i can tell that TDK is not going to be as good as BB story wise...but it will be a old school kick ass movie with lots of explosions and *****. BB's trailer showed some story and what is was about...tdk shows that there's batman in it, joker's in it, lots of explosions, and (according to the trailer) LOTS of batpod action. It's like batman is van damme and the joker is one of those villains who make the movie worth watching....i think this time its just for fun, no "i love u" stuff, no funny stuff, just too badasses beaten the crap out of each other..WHADIHYASAY!?!?!?

when you say "story" you mean, this is a movie about bruce wayne turning into batman. the trailer didnt even show scarecrow, and its a trailer, why would it show some plot? and i think the story will be a good one, from the prolouge we know Joker is a smart sonova and im excited to see what he comes up with in this movie.
 
i have no idea why in GODS name anyone like Jack...i remember watching that movie as a kid...and as a KID i thought it was boring. And that's what i mean by no story, i don't think were gonna see much on why joker acts this way or too much more development..but we will see what he can come up with to kill batsy and "burn" the city.
 
I finally gave it and watched the bootloegged prologue. And wow. That was sick.
 
hey, i've been posting the prologue on YT for a week str8 now...i've been following this prologue crap for a long time now and as far as i know the prologue is a STAND ALONE MOVIE...but now i see SO many people saying it's the 1st 6mins of the movie. Can you tell me which it is cuz they're CONFUSING ME
 
its the first 6 mins but it can easily stand by itself as a mini film. It has an introduction a conflict and an end
 
WTF!...THAT SUCKS..i really thought it was a separate thing...i dont get it, it WAS a separate thing. from wat nolan said...from EVERYOnE.DAMN U..confusion
 
how does that not make sense? that also is a huge waste of imax film then and film time if it was separate
