after watching it again the hair really bothered me.
i mean its a BIG mistake. it looks like they think we are dumb.

THE FACTS:

It is the first six minutes of the film. It was shot as a mini film. But it is the first six minutes of the film. It was shot with the sensibility that it could actually be viewed as a mini film. But, again, it is the first six minutes of the film.

Yeah, the hair thing, it was almost like they didn't have much time for the set up. So they just had heath, with no make-up, and hair color, run through, and film the scene. And then for the reveal they did his make up, and called it a day.

i dont know where else to post this. but in the trailer you see a joker card slightly burning. and it is the same type of joker card that was from the end of begins. and if you look close the joker card is "sliced" right where the burn was in the trailer. is it something? i have no idea.

It's just a burning card. There's no slice. I don't know what you're talking about. It is the same one from Begins. The joker obviously has a collection of these cards that he leaves at the scene because he's insane. There is absolutely no sense to what he does. That's what makes him frightening. "Some men aren't looking for anything logical..."

"You and your friends are dead!" - Bank Manager

Not little friends.

it really looks like that,
but you know whats funny? when they were filming outside with the car heath had green hair
you can see it in hte set pics.

so it makes ZEEEEEEERO sense.

Can someone please send me the link to this thing? It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

:brucebat: A ruthless cold blooded killer. I like that in a bad guy. :hoboj:

do really think they forgot it? it seems that his hair simply schines different in the light.

Lighting may be part of it. I don't what the other guys are talking about!?

It's fresh, wet and dark when he is first seen on the street corner. The green is there, you just don't really notice it. As the robbery progresses, it dries out and the green becomes more and more obvious. I love how they throw the transition out there gradually, so you don't really notice it's becoming greener. It's like in addition to the Joker planning and orchestrating the entire heist, he also planned on revealing himself fully to whomever after the crime.

Heath has said on multiple occasions that this joker has some surprises up his sleeve......

The Green hair switcheroo is very, very blatant. Like nolan wanted you to notice....

The fact that he is standing on the street corner with people walking around with his clown mask in his hand in broad daylight makes me think he doesnt have the make-up on(or revealed) .

its as if nolan wanted you to think about it.

(for the record i dont mind the all makeup joker in the film. I think its a welcome change and fits well into the universe that spawned cillian's scarecrow and Liam's Ras/ducard.I just dont think we should feel that we know EVERYTHING about how this Joker works before we see a script or movie)

Hey I've been a long time reader, but this is my first post. I didn't know where else to put this but this is something I noticed and I don't know if it's been mentioned or not so take it easy on me if it has. So I was watching the prologue for about the 20th time and I noticed that when the one clown is about to shoot the joker, 4 clowns have already been killed by that point. So that would mean a total of six would have been robbing the bank minus the bus driver. However it was stated that there were five shares not counting the jokers share (but he wasnt supposed to be there). Also, the body of the guy in the vault that got shot by the bank manager was missing when it showed the one clown shoot the guy in the back. I hope this makes sense, it's kind of hard to explain through typing. I might have missed something but I guess just let me know what you guys think. Thanks

sorry, but where is the green colour in his hair?

it seems that heath has green hair in the front of his face

but at the end of the proloque he has his green hair everywhere. is it really because his hair is simply wet at the begining?

Sorry for this but i want that TDK will be perfect without ANY mistake.
(i live in europe and never saw the proloque in IMAX)

The lack of green in the begining of the prologue is deliberate, I'm pretty sure. It may seem pointless to those of us who knew long ahead of time which clown mask was Joker's, but for those who haven't been following or have been spoiler-free, it's a little bit of a twist.
You follow all of these goons, with the idea that Joker's not involved by their dialogue. The green hair would've given that away instantly, so it stays brown for most of the prologue. Then just at the end, after Joker's plan is unfolded we notice a colour change. Suddenly the green is obvious. And then the reveal: It's actually Joker.
So I think it's less a mistake and more of artistic choice. Of course, that could be my reading into it, but if I was director that's certainly what I would've done.

Yeah....It surely is a twist but it's a bit, well....artificial !:cwink: :cwink: To me it's the first little annoying thing about TDK !

It's artistic direction, that's half the joy of movies. You must get annoyed by a lot of films.

Nope but it remains a bit artificial ! I don't make a big deal out of this but still...!:o :cwink:
