ok, but if you see the movie for the first time(without spoilers, etc.), it is not important that you don`t see some green hair because you don`t know that this guy is the joker...

yeah totally...but afterwards you can wonder how the hell did that happen ?

How did a school bus manage to back up into a stone building on one go, with two-way traffic fill up the streets? There's an awful lot of impossible things that happen in movies, but they're there to keep the plot and emotions moving.

yeah guys i see what you mean. I will take it as a part of the film that you see some things wich sometimes makes not really sence but bring the story forwards.

How can a steady guy with clown make up and a creepy face stand in a street full of people without being noticed.....that's a question !!!

Are you kidding, weirder stuff happens on city streets all the time! That's what makes the city awesome! And almost nobody ever notices it either. The ones who do notice usually don't say anything beyond a nudge to their buddy and a 'wtf'. He could probably be standing there naked and one or two tourists might take a snapshot but that'd be it.

I knew you were kidding, that's just a turn of phrase that I tend to type without thinking. My whole life is cliche sentences, I learned English watching Hollywood movies.

Hey I've been a long time reader, but this is my first post. I didn't know where else to put this but this is something I noticed and I don't know if it's been mentioned or not so take it easy on me if it has. So I was watching the prologue for about the 20th time and I noticed that when the one clown is about to shoot the joker, 4 clowns have already been killed by that point. So that would mean a total of six would have been robbing the bank minus the bus driver. However it was stated that there were five shares not counting the jokers share (but he wasnt supposed to be there). Also, the body of the guy in the vault that got shot by the bank manager was missing when it showed the one clown shoot the guy in the back. I hope this makes sense, it's kind of hard to explain through typing. I might have missed something but I guess just let me know what you guys think. Thanks
There are 5 guys who go into the bank on foot with masks on - Joker and the two other guys in the van, and the two who zipline down onto the roof. And the bus driver makes 6. The robber who shot the alarm guy is the robber who opens the vault.

The guy that the bank manager shot at didn't get hurt that badly. Apparently the bank manager is a very poor shot. :oldrazz: That robber is the same guy who shoots the vault guy later.

I was also a bit confused at first, but it does make sense once you see it multiple times and keep track of masks and who's going where.

maybe the brown hair is supposed to be a wig?

fixed

will i get banned if i post a pic from the prologue?
because after seeing hes close up there is very small paint on hes face. it looks like its burned on.

call me naive but i still have hope after seeing again the prologue.

no no it is his real hair. do you guys know a email adress or something to contact the filmcrew? i think they have to know this little mistake, with his hair, to fix it.

Edit:

ok i think this is interesting, you don`t see or really notice the green hair in this picture, because it is wet

but in this picture you can see it clearly, because his hair is not wet

i think they filmed the scene on one day, so they forgot nothing. you don`t see his green hair because it is wet...

Well I know that it's not actually a wig but maybe that's what they're trying to imply in the movie

I still haven't watched the prologue. I'm proud of myself. This is some serious will power right here!

hmm good point, it is a possibility. Nolan worked in THE PRESTIGE with wigs but it was part of the film...

Edit: if you look at the scenes before he take off his mask (where he is near the bus), his hair shines green. so it cannot be a wig, maybe it is really because his wet hair dries out and for this reason you can see the green hair. and at the end (the scene where he goes back to the bus) his hair is dry and shines green.

here is an example, his hair is wet and you don`t see his green hair:

Hello. I'm a long time reader and after watching a pretty good quality bootleg of the prologue, I must agree that his hair does indeed shine green when it is in direct sunlight. Also, his hair seems to be a greenish/brownish color. In other words, the green blends in with the brown, that I didn't even notice his hair was green as he was getting on the bus until I looked carefully.

i think you are right. i saw a better version on youtube and his hair was not really green, it was dark green or something.

i hope we will see a HD version of the prologue before the film is in the cinema.

PFFFFFT!

Yeah, and while we're at it we can remind them that there are still Chicago placemarkers in the trailer, and to please take them out so people won't notice when they pause the footage. :oldrazz:

I'm sure they're aware of it - they filmed it that way and hoped that it wouldn't stick out too badly. His hair suddenly turns green after the robber gets run over by the bus. I didn't notice until my third viewing or so.

It's like pointing out the bus couldn't have backed up like that at a busy intersection. It's inconsistent with real life, but it's consistent with the story and what they wanted to reveal. Just go with it. :cwink:

i send you an link where you can see that his hair is not really green, you can see it clearly at the moment where he goes back into the bus.

It's not GREEN green, but it's definitely got a green tinge at the end.

You can't really see it in the link you gave me, but it's definitely there.

If the link's a bootleg, it's going to be harder to see. The green's obvious when on an actual movie theater screen. Again, fairly sure any mistake like that would've been caught before release to the IMAX.

Sorry, bit late on this...but could somebody send me a link to the best version of the prologue there is?

THX, now i SEE what you mean. ;-)

Bwahahahaha.

I had an off-topic thought regarding green. I have two male cousins who are red-green colorblind. Apparently certain shades of red and green look grayish to them. Vacationing in Hawaii must have been interesting...
