The Dark Knight Concerns about TDK

Also during one of the black out someone brought a bat signal flash light and flashed it against the screen most of the people were moaning and when they saw the signal they cheered

Damn, I wish I was there!

No you don't. First you would have to sit all 20 hours of Spider-man 3. Then hearing 300 peoples hearts break as the movie progressed. Then the cries of a dozen body building guys who wore venom shirts and didn't realize how ***** they have become.. Last but not least the wails of the people who's childhood hero turned into a dancing emo.

*Stands and appluads*

Well said!

lol

I posted a pic of Zsasz, then you asked yet again who he was. If you really wanted to know, there is a very creative invention that has been around for sometime; it's called a computer. Use it ala google or wikipedia.

Now go bury your head in the sand *****e bag.

Try adding some text to the picture yeh lacksidasical tiddly ****. You'd do well to remember this is a disscusion site. in discussions people ask questions. why should I leave my favorite fansite to find out when I can stick with the conversation right here-I rather like the back and forth with my fellow comics fan. I asked a question-happens all the time here-nothing out of the ordinary. You would think. By oh boy, your mom sure did raise an ass.:whatever:

Better reason for me to pop out my katana and go on a rampage

The people in the theater well my theater would welcome it with open arms...

That's extreme....very extreme. You can leave the boards, blow up the theater, murder your dog, but please DON'T turn into the poser-trend called "emo". I can't let that happen to you! We're blood-brothers, all of us!
Yeah I know its probably not gonna happen but im just sayin

I am glad people are liking my little poem of SM3. I had a lot of fun writing it.

Why should you indeed. It'd be way too much work for an idiot wouldn't it.:whatever:

I guess my biggest concern is that he repeats the mistake I feel he made in BB;a lack of artistic vision and a visual sense of grandeur for the film. Will he make the most of a (I'm sure) great script? Or will he downplay it and under-develop it like he did with BB? I'm just not sure.

Also, I kinda fear that Nolan's embracing of "realism" will ultimately drag down the quality of the film and reduce Batman as a character.

i dont have a single one. Honestly i love how everything is turning out. I noticed that some people on here just like to complain. Just trust in Nolan and the crew they won't disappoint any of us. The thing with having mulitiple bat-men is if you ever opened up a comic you would know Batman used his costume on other people, i even remember a comic where alfred wore the cape and cowl. Futher more the joker is awesome everything we've seen so far has been amazing. From the scarred smile to the ragged clothes, just because he doesn't fit into your cookie cutter existence of the joker. SO WHAT? that is what its supposed to do. Do you honestly think that Warner Bros/Nolan don't know what they are doing? Come on you can't be that dumb...well some of you.

If you don't have a concern, why post in a thread about concerns?

And why come in here simply to attempt to silence those who do have concerns? I'll agree, obviously, there's people with very foolish concerns an worries, but no more foolish than a lot of pro-everything-Nolan-does-is-perfect sentiments out there. IMO, of course.

For the most part, posters who have stated their opinions have had good reasons other than just complaining to complain. There are some good theories and valid concerns floating around here.

The thing with having mulitiple bat-men is if you ever opened up a comic you would know Batman used his costume on other people, i even remember a comic where alfred wore the cape and cowl.
Alfred in the cape and cowl would just be silly; the idea of Bruce voluntarily letting somebody else put on the Bat-suit (or something similar) is silly. I'm not sure how this multiple Batman plot will turn out, but I'm interested to see where it goes. I'm hoping it doesn't take up much of the movie, but I'm sure seeing the Batman in a noose will be a powerful scene.

Futher more the joker is awesome everything we've seen so far has been amazing. From the scarred smile to the ragged clothes, just because he doesn't fit into your cookie cutter existence of the joker. SO WHAT? that is what its supposed to do. WB? Yes. From what I have seen of Nolan, he likes his twists and turns in his movies and advertising for his movies. I'm not completely trusting any of the screen shots floating around from the movie for that very reason. But remember, even the greatest directors have their **** ups.

Is it wrong to have a different conception of what the movie could be like? Cconn takes a lot of flak from people (and dishes a lot back) for no good reason. He's not saying that he thinks the movie will suck... he's just saying that HE would prefer it differently and would enjoy it even more that way.

I trust in Nolan's vision for this but that doesn't mean that everyone else has to :o

*pats Cconn on the back.

You're a gem.

Seriously though, it is great to know at least one other person understands, at least. :)

I'm going to agree with Cconn on this one.

It's ok to say everything is great, but as soon as one complaint comes up, you're branded as the man who hates the entire movie.

...If you were a comic fan you'd know who Zsasz is.

And treated as if it's a despicable thing to have a single complaint.

It isn't. It's perfectly fine. As long as you're not a dick about it, of course.

That's also my concern.

There will always be people who enjoy movies on such a superficial level that they will always like everything about the movie. Some of us just think a little harder about these things. :p

There definitely is a culture of "dissent is bad" from the new class of Bat Boarders... :(

That's nice that you don't have any concerns. Some people do though. That doesn't make them dumb. :whatever:
