Constantine General Discussion Thread - Part 1

Nice.

Now all we need is to see him in a green cloak and matching speedo. ;)

Just wanted to post my 2 cents. I'm really digging the show. Interesting stories so far, love the new girl (way hotter too :) ).

I really loved the movie and hope the show can make it a few seasons.

Yea this was by far one best episodes. I love the ending it was a very powerful ending.

I've read tweets that Constantine has been canceled. As show runner, I assure you that nothing could be further from the truth. #Constantine

So all the doomsayers (you know who are) can tell your Cancellation Bear to piss off and chill tf out

It won't be announced until January or February if it is cancelled, at the earliest. This means nothing, probably just some idiots looking for notoriety by "breaking" a fairly predictable story before it happens. Even if the decision had already been made it would not benefit them to announce it before they have something ready to take its timeslot.

Yep. Plus Cerone tweeted that there will be a marathon on Syfy soon.

I agree with you on the ratings issue, but you don't have to repeat the same thing over and over and over... you're behaving like an annoying troll and you say you're a fan?! With fans like you, haters can take the day off, you do all the trolling for them. :meanie:

Moving on, the show keeps getting better, it has great crossover potential with Arrow and The Flash, if it doesn't happen this season, then it should in Season 2.

Goyer said "the character Liv was flawed in its conception, and obviously we're to blame for that".

This isn't trolling, and I wouldn't repeat myself if certain children didn't keep repeating the same terrible arguments.

If people like Jason Kane and Sawyer would stop posting delusional nonsense I wouldn't feel the need to counter it.

And again, notice that most of my comments about the show itself (except two specific actresses) have been quite positive.

This is a discussion forum. It you don't want to read my posts, feel free to scroll right past them.

Just repeatedly trying to silence someone saying truths you don't want to hear is a ridiculous thing to do.

Doesn't work like that. Two different networks, two different production teams ;Arrow/Flash are in Berlanti/Kreisberg/Guggenheim's jurisdiction and Constantine's in Goyer and Cerone's. Plus two different ideas and not many viewers and diehard fans of the magus want things to be like the New 52

What are the chances of this show hopping networks? If NBC decides to cancel it, Could the CW pick it up? Is such a thing even possible?

Constantine is not "CW" material though. Even though they have great genre shows like Flash and Arrow the shows on that network have a certain tone and vibe to them (super attractive cast, occasional gratuitous shirtless scenes, relationship melodrama etc.) Constantine would have to conform to those standards to go on CW and I don't think any of you guys want that.

Nor want Berlanti and co. putting their grubby mitts on it
