Spectre! Man, a JLD movie would be amazing.

Now smokers and the LGBTQ can put down their ace of winchesters now that we got two birds with one stone.

Bravo, Christine Boylan!

What, did I miss a reference to him being bi?

Love how the green mist formed around him to look like a cape and cowl.

Great episode !

I never watch any shows like Supernatural nor do I have any interest in horror movies, but for some reason I find this series to be compelling !

Man... it took me a number to repeated viewings, to notice the white streak they added to his hair, in Zed's vision.

For me, this show went from being the most disappointing comic book show this year to being the best. Yes, even better than The Flash. The Flash is great because it is embracing the light hearted, heroic, and colorful world of its source material. Constantine has been great for the past 2 episodes because it is finally starting to embrace the darkness and the disturbing nature of the character and the source material.

I actually cheered when I finally saw him with a cigarette in his mouth. :funny:

My only criticism of the show is that Constantine a bit over reliant on magic artefacts.

Hopefully going forward we will see John using his cunning mind, tricks and manipulation skills more than his James Bond style magic gadgets.

Couldnt agree more.

Synopsis for the first half of the 2 parter's up (along with Anne Marie):

The title of the episode is "The Saint of Last Resorts, Part 1" and here's how they describe it:

AN OLD FRIEND CALLS FOR JOHN'S HELP WHEN AN ANCIENT EVIL SURFACES IN MEXICO - CLAIRE VAN DER BOOM GUEST STARS -- A call from Anne Marie (guest star Claire van der Boom), a member of the fateful Newcastle crew, sends John (Matt Ryan) and Chas (Charles Halford) to Mexico City and brings them closer to the source of The Rising Darkness. Meanwhile, Zed's (Angélica Celaya) past comes back to haunt her.

Lol so I'm confused, NBC said Constantine can't smoke yet they seem to be bypassing it anyway. Is it like a specified mandate where we just can't see him smoke for extended periods of time but a puff or two is acceptable?

Thus the FCC are mental like that rather than just the network

Agreed!

I really don't like they continue with the use of the magical items (I'm of course referring to the "wristwatch ghost detector thingy"), John having an arsenal of magical artifacts kills the suspension a bit, as they can always act as Deus Ex Machina and it also takes away from the more dark and gritty aspect of magic and makes it a bit too much Dr. Who-ish in the aspect of silliness.
