Well if people give me issue #'s ahead of time and what they want from the issues, I'm pretty sure I can help.

Don't let my name fool ya. I don't go rush out an' buy everythin' connected to Wolverine foamin' at th' mouth. I judge everythin' on it's own merits, an' AF just wasn't my kinda book.

That's fine, AF is not everyone's cup of tea. It did have some pretty risky stories at the time, such as Northstar being gay, Diamond Lil dealing with breast cancer...etc.

There are a few people who usually don't debate too much. So, you can decide your votes any way you want; but, as you know, it's highly encouraged to read the debates and decide if they convinced you. (For me, if I'm tossed on who to vote for, I will generally go with someone who took the time to debate their match-up. But, sometimes when you just know a character doesn't stand a chance, even some of the best debates can't sway me.) Also, sometimes we will vote and maybe hold off on a couple matches if we know debating will come later, as in the case of Wiegeabo this week with the Guardian match-up.

Yeah. But, this is one of the problems we've been facing in this round and the previous. Some of the heavier debating is going on during the voting and not on the weekend. (Although, I tend to not do my debating on the weekend due to having my second job and wanting to spend my free time resting or playing with my kids.) Not sure if it's something we need to look into for the next season or not. Should we have debating on the Weekdays and voting on the Weekends instead? Give your opinions, guys, if you think it would make a difference or what your thoughts are.

Weekend debating is better for me. It's just been these last couple of weeks I've been stuck having to wait until monday to get anything down.

This was brought up in a battle thread, but I figured I'd put this here as to not clog the thread up.

Anyway, I agree with you, Hobbit, to an extent. But I think if you don't have a scanner, and someone provides the scans you need to prove something that should be allowed.
I know I don't have a scanner, but I think I should be allowed to ask someone if they could scan me a pic out of a specific comic. After all, I'd do it myself if I could.

I don't mind if you want a scan and ask someone for it, but I don't want people just randomly offering pics to help you out. I also don't want it where you ask for a pic and they offer your five that are better. I don't mind little favors, but nothing that helps you in your debate. Everything and Everyone outside of the match should be neutral until voting.

By the way, if I seem to vanish over the next week or two, don't fret. My baby's due to be born on Sunday so my wife could go into labor at any time, and from that point I'll be up at the hospital quite a bit. I should be able to still get on frequently, but if not, that's why

Boy, I got my butt kicked last round...but, this is definitely my lucky round. It's starting to look like my only defeat will came at the hands of myself. I have a feeling my luck will change as things heat up next round.

BTW, if there is no tie this week, are we going straight into the next round, JH, without the usual one week break between rounds? (For the first time, we don't have a team to divy up.)

When I was in the hospital for that full day with my son, they had the computer room for the patients and their attending parents or guests. Hopefully, they'll have the same thing for you.

Not even 3:00 pm here on the West Coast, and we've pulled in our first DUI for Valentine's Day. That's pretty scary knowing someone is drinking and driving at the same time my kid's getting out of school.

Hopefully she won't be depending on you to help her with her homework....

I was somewhat fearful of having a boy, because although I was always into sports and stuff like that, my best friends were always girls. I seem to get along with them better. But I wouldn't change my boy for anything. Except I wouldn't mind if he calmed down a bit. He's like the energizer bunny on steroids. You might think I am joking but I am serious. .. He has so much balled up energy, that we exhaust ourselves trying to work him out. My girl on the other hand is the complete opposite, she is the definition of a princess, because she is very proper, polite, and well mannered. However she is still very active in soccer, Gymnastics, dance and skating too, so she is no dainty little girl.

Anyways, I did notice Victor was back.....
