So are we going to do all the matchups in one week? This late in the game it would be nice to split it in two weeks. Especially since we are so close to the end and each match is so important.

If so, that's fine but I have been ultra busy lately and I barely got my debates up before voting.

I am sure Harl. wouldn't mind either...

Here are the final standings. Poor Iceman has no characters left. Sparta and Nightwolf have one character each. Harlekin has the best record this round with an amazing 6-1. My result was better than I hoped and far better than phaed's predictions....

You didn't tell me you were going to Disneyland.......I want to go too. ...

What can I say? It was very spur of the moment. I decided just this last week, and made my reservations the day before yesterday. We are doing the long drive...getting in the car late Saturday night around 9:00 pm and driving straight through to Anahiem. That's 19 hours...but, I like the idea that the kids can sleep and the traffic will be much easier in the evening and early morning. I can't wait to see my 3 year old as she gets to experience Disneyland for the first time. (It's my 10 year old's third time.)

I have started saving some money for my own vacation to go back to Cuba. We went on our honeymoon and we've been dying to go back. But this time we will be bringing the kids. We felt guilty when we left our oldest with my mother.. So this time we are all going together.

The best part is my wife doesn't know anything about it, so I am going to surprise her for Christmas (or aniversary) depending on how quickly I can save up...

I'm thoroughly confused however by the round 5 scheme, considering only three of my characters are in it. We're splitting them up in two weeks then, yeah?

We are doing the long drive...getting in the car late Saturday night around 9:00 pm and driving straight through to Anahiem. That's 19 hours...but, I like the idea that the kids can sleep and the traffic will be much easier in the evening and early morning. I can't wait to see my 3 year old as she gets to experience Disneyland for the first time. (It's my 10 year old's third time.)

So that means you still have two seats left for me and Trigger.....you have air conditioning right?

Yeah, I'm really shocked by some of the winners this round. (Heck, even I think Ezekial should have lost to Death's Head II!) I think this week some people got hurt by the low voter turnout. But, that's how the game goes. (Even Death's Head II could have been a tie if Death's Head would have stopped by to vote for his man.)

I'm seriously thinking that for Contest Season II, we might have to keep things the same way. While I love the pairing of contestants idea, it might be too early, especially since it looks like we'll be getting some new blood participating in the next season. And, with the removal of the uber-powerful characters and inclusion of some of the newer characters we've been seeing lately in the Marvel Universe, like Gravity, it can still be just as different as we are hoping. If we mix things up too much, it could be more of a hinderance to getting new people to join up.

my family and I went last year, and we also went to Las Vegas (grown up's Disneyland )

This year we are going back to Vegas, then Grand Canyon, San Francisco etc, or Florida

Bringing my mom with me, too. She hasn't been to Disneyland since I was just a baby. After 35 years, it will look a little different to her now.

And, yes, air conditioning and a portable tv that the kids can watch while traveling down the road.
