So Midnight is the first one knocked out? I'm sort of surprised we went so long without losing someone (besides them droping out, but that's probably the reason why).

I'll probably be the next to go in the next round.

In my predictions (which, of course, I totally failed at last time. Although, I think even Powder would admit he really had an angel looking over his shoulder!), I see you losing 3 of your matches, but having one contestant still standing. (You can probably figure out which character I think will still be around.)

I do see three people being knocked out at the end of next week. Although, I can see all three of them having a chance of being in it, too. (A big reason I think Death's Head lost in his match versus Ezekial is because he hardly votes or debates. If he doesn't stand up for Quasar, I see him going away.)

Another prediction. Even though I thought Powder would only have a couple participants left this round, I now predict he will only lose one character!

There should be a seperate section stricktly for all the games on the Hype. From the tournaments that pop up on a weekly basis, to the Hype's many RPGs, and to the DTL. It would certainly cut down on all the clutter, especially in the Marvel forum.

I'm seriously thinking that for Contest Season II, we might have to keep things the same way. While I love the pairing of contestants idea, it might be too early, especially since it looks like we'll be getting some new blood participating in the next season. And, with the removal of the uber-powerful characters and inclusion of some of the newer characters we've been seeing lately in the Marvel Universe, like Gravity, it can still be just as different as we are hoping. If we mix things up too much, it could be more of a hinderance to getting new people to join up.

I've been thinking about that lately myself. I would still love to do the team tourney eventually, but I think for now we should stick to this same layout, at least for one more season. Let as many people as possible get in on this tourney before we start mixing things up.

Well, I have a challenge on my hands with Thanos, and I plan on doing a lot of research for that one, so I don't know how it will go, though I know odds are against me. I think I can win the Sphinx match if I debate well enough.

So my predictions are that I'll come out of this round with one character left, Sphinx!

haha well i'm glad my tourney's love child is doing so well

The idea of the super fast thread or whatever is a little silly...but Spartin2008 seems like a nice guy and he's doing a good job I guess, if anything, I feel complimented that my thread has spawned so many similar ones...i'm like the godfather lol

Thank you, thank you. Yes, apparently I do suck. Oh well, thats how it goes I guess. I had a blast, and I can't wait for next season!! (If I have Magneto, maybe he won't go out so early, lol.) I had a lot of fun debating with everyone, so thanks for that. I will still be watching the tourny and voting of course. Good luck to everyone! I don't feel like a total loser cause I did get some sweet comics out of the deal a round or two ago.
