I noticed something tonight...

During the final battle, Jean Grey demolecularizes the Blackbird. How the **** do the X-Men get back to the mansion? They just travel down highway 101 to SF airport and say "Um, yea, that whole Alcatraz thing? Our ride kinda blew up while we were involved in that... do you have a flight going to Westchester anytime soon?"

The other thing I noticed...

I understand how Mystique sold out Magneto... but um, how would she have known where his camp in the woods was at? She was already shunned by him by the time he started building his army. So how would she know where he was hiding out?

What plot holes did you guys notice about the film? (And please, try to keep it respectful, no bashing about how Cyclops died or whatever)

That was one of my little issues with the movie, actually...Near the end...How did Storm "get everyone to safety", exactly? I wanted to see that...

My biggest problem is (by the way, I enjoyed the movie), how did Magneto escape from alcatraz without being apprehended? Just because he lost his powers (temporarily I presume) doesn't take away from the fact that he is still public enemy number one. Being a wanted man of that caliber, there's no way he would have been able to go out into public like that.

Heres what Im hoping about Mystique...

As it turns out she ended up leading the army straight to a decoy...Multiple Man...Mystique knew Multiple man was there...

My mind tells me that behind the scenes she was still working for Magneto...cut some sort of amnesty deal in exchange for info and gave them bs info...

The President gave the X-Men a ride as a thank-you. I guess it's possible.

Mystique was with Magneto the entire time, lying to the government about his whereabouts... How else would Magneto know that the government was coming and left Multiple Man to do his thing? Mystique is still working for Magneto.

little snake-type-things come out of his arms, solidify, and he snaps them off and throws them, i could have sworn i heard and/or saw him breaking them off.

Finally a plot hole thread...we really need this...because this had more issues than Iceman not just freezing the dam water in X2....

- Where was the Brotherhood Camp? Because either coast seems to make little sense....if it is West, how did Wolverine drive there and back on a motorbike so quickly?....and how did Xavier and Magneto arrive at Jean's house at the same time?....where WAS her house for that matter - how did SHE get there? How did Pyro just show up wherever Bobby was at the cure clinic - where was this - East Coast, how did Pyro suddenly get there? And if Mags was on the East Coast, how the heck did he get his army to San Francisco without attracting attention????

- Kitty missing 'first snow' in Illinois when she lives in NY

- Angel goes from CA to NY to CA - does he fly???

- Why does Magneto get to play chess in the public park when he is still supposedly a wanted criminal?

- Why did Xavier leave Jean unattended with Logan? Shouldn't he have been there waiting for her to wake up?

- Why did Xavier let Mags join him to talk to Jean? This is a man who left him to die in X2 after using him to try to kill all the humans.

- What becomes of Pyro and Juggs?

well u dont really know how many days have passed..i mean do u even know how many days passed between xavier getting killed and the memorial service?
and psylocke can teleport through shadows,and its not to say there werent any other teleporters in the army

It's things like this that are get out so they could keep the movie ADD FRENETIC PACE!

I want to know why Jean never once has the Phoenix shape she did at the very end of X-men 3.

Oh that's right, Fox was too busy spending more money making sure this got released QUICKLY instead of spending more money to make sure it looked GREAT.

THat's pretty much what they seem to be going for. THere was no proof that the cure was permanent, it hadn't been around long.

My view is that the cure is permanent, but not powerful enough to work on a "class 5" mutant. Magneto is too powerful for it.

But Mystique and Rogue will remain cured.
