Yea, that's what I thought too Nell. The cure would not affect Class 5 mutants.

My idea for the cure is that (like many new real-life drugs and laser eye surgery) the long term effects are not known. In some cases the body accepts it, rejects it without complications (magneto, mystique), or rejects it violently(Rogue).

What does Iceman do after Pyro torches the building in which mutants are seeking to get cured? Does he just let the people inside burn to death? Does he not attempt to help anyone? He is an X-Man afterall, but the scene just cuts away.

Why is Magneto just walking the streets as a free man at the end of the movie?

If Maneto is powerful enough to completely relocate portions of the Golden Gate Bridge, and he is hell-bent on killing Leech and stopping the cure . . . why doesn't he just drop the bridge on top of the entire facility? . . . problem solved. No need to exert yourself . . . no more cure, and onto world domination (not so much a plot hole--just a general wonderment).

i can see logan geting all the way to wherever the woods were because he is resourceful. and we dont know how long he was gone.

bobby going to look for rogue: i dont know exactly where he went. one review mentioned that cure sites were popping up around the country, but i dont remember hearing about that so maybe i missed it. if bobby got all the way to SF and back by himself, that would be stupid.

and a noticeable one for me: when logan finished fighting with spike, he got two holes in his white tank. they were gone when he confronted jean and magneto. i think people mentioned this when they saw the clips, but we didnt have confirmation of the order of the scenes until now.

The X-Men did do the Planet, Government, White House a favor & Hank is personal Friends with the President after all. Really this is not a plot hole at all if you think about it. I wonder if there are any Cut Scenes with the President & that one dude thanking the X-Men & Hank for saving their asses ?

Im pretty sure that either Angels father would have arranged transport for them. Or Beast contacted the president and got some transport. After all they just saved the planet.

Magneto and Pyro threw a lot of flaming cars toward Alcatraz. When the camera cranes upward at the end of the battle, the bridge is still completely covered in cars.

I guess that's more of a continuity error, but still, it was pretty jarring.

My view is that the cure is permanent, but not powerful enough to work on a "class 5" mutant. Magneto is too powerful for it.

But Mystique and Rogue will remain cured.

Mag isnt a class 5 mutant. When they first find out where Jean is at, Callisto locates her and says she is even more powerful then mag, The only class 5 she has ever seen. It was somwhere along those lines. And i beileve Xavier said something about her being the only class 5 as well

It's funny, because I asked Kinberg this exact question at Xverse, about how many locations they had and how all the mutants would be traveling between them nad he got very curt and was like, "Not all of those are in the movie."

Voila! Look at this! I think I'm one of the first people to bring this up in his/her review of the film. It was perhaps the most jarring thing for me. The locatiosn don't make any sense.

There's a reason Singer kept Magneto and Company out of suburbia -- it just DOESN"T WORK!!!!!! People would notice them.

How about this one?

After levitating a house, having a huge battle inside and outside the neighborhood, Magneto, after mourning and witnessing in horror Jean killing Xavier, takes Xavier and SOMEHOW MANAGES TO GET AWAY!!!!! Nevermind, Logan and Storm, moments later, rush in and have enough time to cry, pick up Xavier's chair, and flee without anyone contacting them to ask what the hell went on at that house.

Why wasn't Leech used to stop Jean Greys/Pheonix powers? (have to do something with the "classes" probally...

leech would have been demolecularised well before he got within a distance to disable her powers...

his actual range in the film seems very small, perhaps since he is still young.

although there were plenty of cure darts still available surrounding the area, the fact that death was the only option for jean seemed a lil bizzare
