Apocalypse Costumes of the 80s

Still a pretty bad design though. The muted red looks almost looks brown, looking back on it.

I've always loved the look of Wolverine's mask and I don't think it would look any more silly than any of the other more comic accurate CBM suits that we've seen, but I also don't think it's something that he needs.......at all

I'm not bothered by the lack of costumes in these movies.
I prefer it that way honestly.

Same. I liked the uniformed look. Problem is the X Logo was never prominent enough on the costumes.

Personally, I think people put a little too much stock in the costumes. Some people base the film on that criteria alone.

If they must retain the black leather, I still think you could do a fairly good approximation of Jubilee's comic look. Just have her sport the coat and glasses over her X-Men suit like this.

After seeing the Deadpool reveal there's no reason why the X-Men can't have comic book accurate individual costumes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Deadpool is not in a superhero team. So thats different compare to the X-Men where most of them have different color scheme for their costumes.

With Fox's costuming for Daredevil/Elektra and the original Fantastic Four films... Deadpool getting a costume faithful to the comics isn't surprising.

Deadpool is also a case of them trying really hard to tell people this has nothing to do with their last (horrendous) attempt at a live-action Deadpool.

If you're curious, I can tell you this: the costumes in X-MEN: APOCALYPSE will NOT be black. Film is going to full on embrace the 80's.

@KnightGambit I don't know about the spandex but have been told "colorful".

They're a paramilitary strike force and rescue team
They should look that way. NOT LIKE a bunch of POWER ranger Rejects

If they want color they can add color they are not the military or the police, they just don't have to go overboard with the colors. So accept that it will be color and it won't be like power ranger rejects your going overboard and overreacting.

So if we get Psylocke, and she gets a costume, which do you prefer? I prefer the armor:

Not the blue swimsuit please, it's impractical and probably won't be to comfortable. Maybe something like what viper had in the wolverine, but in blue.

Everything just not armor, too many robots and armors in all those marvel movies.
Green Goblin, Rhino - armors
Silver Samurai - armor
Whiplash - armor
Ultron is in armor
Apocalypse is probably in cosmic armor

Psylocke definitely not in armor!

I feel like this look could work:

Keep the outfit and sword and add in the purple hair, purple sash, purple lipstick -- the works.

Those are great! Uniformed, but colourful enough. They look like they are on a team, but are still individualized.
