Sequels Could Spider-Man 4 and 5 Set Up for the Sinister 6???

I was almost thinking, what if, instead of an actual Sinister 6 movie...

a movie with Mysterio, and the Chameleon (or even just Mysterio)
where, through disguises, illusions, robotic technology,..ect.
we see all of the previous villains redone

yeah I thought about that already. not a bad idea at all, imo. it's better than coming up with a lame excuse about why Doc Ock is doing bad things.

Of Spidey's remaining villains, Lizard and Mysterio are the two I would like to see used most. Spidey has tons of great villains left for use. We don't need to do anything like the SS or bring back Ock/GG to make it good. Part of what makes the Spider-Man property so rich to hold is the fact he has a ton of villains who are usable.

Also, Spiderman fighting 6 villains at once totally looks insane.

I highly doubt Sinister Six will work on film.
But fight scene can be amazing..Spiderman fighting all six villains in Times Square at once..(well I can dream,right?)

If I may add... they need a realistic, motivation for coming together; because we all know that these criminals don't work together to well as a team. They are not Ocean's 11. They don't have a history or relationship to each other. So to simply put a team together for the sole purpose of killing Spiderman, shows a lack of imagination and lazy writing. Their motivation should have completely nothing to do with Spiderman; otherthan the fact, that Spiderman is risking his life in a intent to stop them.

I have mixed feelings on that. I think whether their goal is to kill Spidey or seek some higher purpose, the right writing can make it great.

Venom, Electro, Doc Ock, Lizard, Vulture and Hobgoblin

Lizard should never be apart of any team up in the movies.

I think you misunderstood the concept
It wouldn’t be “all just an illusion” like it never happened at all

But, with Mysterio, and the Chameleon
They would be combining they unique abilities, the chameleon's master of disguise, and Mysterio’s special effects know how and technology
to try to confuse, or throw him off (for, whatever reason) they attack him, disguised as other villains he’s faced

The attacks are still very much real

They may only happen a couple of villains at a time (maybe, Mysterio, could make it appear as if they all there at once, maybe, some of them could be robots) but, only two would be real

Ock having brain damage is a drop in the ocean compared to what they've done in these movies so far.

certainly...with the exception of Norman's craziness. but do we need to have more of that? I thought the motive that we have new writers was to try to go in a different path in these movies. here's hopes that we'll have something more elaborated.

there's no reason to have brain damage if he wasn't even struggling to go back to the surface. he accepted death and accepted that it was over. he was just dropping to the bottom of the ocean...

With Sam Raimi at the helm again? There'll be plenty of cliches, new writers or not. Sam will have his influence on this movie just like with the previous three.

Why did he have to be struggling to sustain brain damage? He was floating underneath a giant fusion ball. They could easily conjure up that as the reason for it.

And brain damage was the reason Stan Lee gave him in ASM #3 for turning evil.

that's one of the reasons why I wanted a new director. Raimi did a good job, but I'd like to see a different take in this movie franchise, a different point of view.

a fusion ball that he created and worked with. it mustn't have been a big deal for him such as having tentacles in his back or lose Rosie. and, from what I've seen, brain damage is caused by traumatic brain injury. his trauma in the movie was the accident that ruined his life. when he recovered his sanity and eventually destroyed his project to rectify his mistakes, he was just...going down to the bottom of the ocean.
and I can't see they bringing back Ock without messing with SM2, which, imo, is perfect the way it is. without ruining its theme, its lessons. they can bring him back? yeah. but with a good excuse? no. he is my favorite villain of this movies, was made justice and had his time. hope they won't do anything stupid and will give other villains their chance and proper treatment. know what I'm saying?

I agree. I'm tired of Raimi's vision. I'd like a new direction, and a new cast, too. But keep Aunt May, Jonah, and Gwen.

Yeah, but he was never as close to the fusion ball as he was when he was sinking with it. He was always, if you'll pardon the pun, at arms length when working with it in the lab.

I understand and I do agree. I'm playing devil's advocate here on the lazy writing and cliches done in these movies. Like I said above, Ock suffering brain damage would be nothing compared to what they've done.

I wasn't saying its the only way it could be done, or even the ideal way, just one way of doing it, jeez, claim yourself

Idea: Norman Osborn is alive and has been faking being dead since the end of Spider-Man 1.

He plays everybody in the Sinister Six and makes them join because he has something they want.

Sandman: Osborn promises he'll cure his daughter's disease.

Vulture: enough money to retire in exchange for more flying suit designs.

Kraven: the glory of being involved in Spider-Man's death, plus more performance enhancers.

Electro: enough money to retire and a cure for his condition.

Doc Ock: Osborn fished Octavius out of the river and recussitated him after Spider-Man 2. He's been slowly brain-washing him over the course of a few years and made him believe Spider-Man took all the glory for Ock saving New York as well as being responsible for Rosie's death. He injects him with nanites that keep him in control, and Osborn makes him his personal scientist/slave/bodyguard. This will of course, backfire in the end.

Motivations: done.
