Could the real problem with the Hulk movies happen to be THE HULK himself?

Hulk MUST talk more. They need to establish that Hulk is a different entity all together. He shouldn't answer to Bruce's name. I think that they're scared to do the whole third person thing, but that's easily avoidable. He could say ''I'' and ''Me'' but just say simple sentences. But let him say more than three lines. That was my only real problem with TIH. It could be so much easier to relate to him.

Wow. I think you will sound stupid more often if you let the fan boy in you talk. That is directed to a lot of posters here.
* Hulk talk more??? Look , Hulk is an engine of fury and destruction to the average punter. How can you moan about an Ang Lee film that was too " deep" and want to create a film that houses more Hulk dialogue? Whats he going to do? Discuss Descartes views on duality?
* The 03 Hulk was not a factor. Only to fanboys. Most people do not hold grudges for 5 years in the movie business guys. If the film was marketed well ( ie if Marvel actually believed in their product which I doubt) , you would have seen a better box office. Blaming Ang is silly.
*The Hulk 08 was an average film. It rated averagely with reviewers, and a lot of cinema goers are influenced by reviews. It was badly edited and I thought had the HUlk performing little in the way of "impossible" feats that distinguish his character in the comics. The end fight was a little bit of an anti climax for fans who believed in the rumour of a 26 minute fight sequence. All in all the box office was remarkably high when you take in to account all the points I have raised. The Hulk would have been netter off maiking his solo films after an Avengers type movie where he can be seen reeking havoc on well known super heros and maybe helping save the day in the end.

 When Hulk says 2 or 3 phrases a film, you're ignoring a part of the character. He's his own character, with his own personality and views. Having him, as someone here said, as Banner in ******ed form is not what Hulk is. Would Gollum have been as interesting a character if he didn't say a lot? Action scenes are neat, and power is a big part of Hulk, but you need character driven story too.

I agree. I think Hulk needed to be more of a character to connect more with audiences.

hulk was in the movie dumb. and this was a big mistake IMO. didnt like howhe acted in the cave scene.

i really lliked how he talked in 03 movie. he talked normal.

Hulk doesn't necessarily have to speak...but the audience should be made aware that Hulk hates Banner as much as Banner hates Hulk.

Exactly.

Go back and look at any issue of the Hulk, any era and you will see that the Hulk is his own persona. Complete with vocal capabilities. Sure at various times he's been more talkative and had a higher vocabulary and understanding but he still communicated in sentences. Regardless of how well structured they were.

We have seen the Hulk physically realized now lets fully realize the character of Hulk.:bh:
